Days Inn Hartford

Recent guest reviews

We stayed at Days Inn Hartford for 6 days/5 nights. We had zero problems at all. The room was very clean, as was the motel overall. Breakfast is fairly basic - cereal, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, but we weren't there for a breakfast buffet, and it's normal and fresh. Coffee was really good! Desk staff was friendly and helpful. When one piece of luggage was lost by the airline, they passed the message along from one desk clerk to the next to be on the lookout for it because the airline found it and was delivering it to the motel. They actually seemed sympathetic to my luggage-less plight. The motel is down a side road, so it's very quiet. There were no loud guests, either. On a fun note, they have some interesting topiary trees on the motel grounds.

Stayed two different days, going to and coming back from New Hampshire. Great room rates. Very convenient location near interstate route. Small, but good breakfast room. Very nice personnel. Had a large suite on second stay. Excellent restaurant nearby. Quite location. Out of all 6 motels that we stayed at, this was by far the best.

i left my glasses at the room and when I call nobody knows about it. im sure he glasses was at the room

Just a place to sleep away from home on business not a pleasure trip

Although the staff was nice and the room was a pretty good size, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The environment was unpleasant and it was hard to get get comfortable. I did not like the location and there were people outside till very late at night talking very loudly (that may have just been a bad night). I wish I would have paid an extra $40 to stay at a nicer hotel.

Stinky floors and room is average. We had to spent few hours only at the hotel. Will not go again for sure.

Whole place could do with updating but it was clean and served a purpose for the night.

I chose this hotel because it was very close to the venue (Webster Theater) we were seeing a show at. The front desk was very nice when we checked in, the room smelled a little weird but it didn't bother us too much, and the breakfast served was ok. We were hardly in the room and the real selling point of this hotel was the price.

During this 8 days, we receive a super clean room, very comfortable and noiseless. It hasn't too much amenities, but we were asking something to sleep comfortable, and Days Inn in Hartford has it! We enjoyed these days too much!!!!

Nice Hotel but out of the way and for first time visitors can be difficult to find. Easy to miss the hotel turnoff on the turnpike.

The place smelled. Even the hotel room, although it was nonsmoking.

Looked better online than in person. Stains on carpet and walls. Shoddy patch work everywhere. Toliet after flushing sounded like it was going to explode. Sheets , pillows, and towels were clean. Bed was hard.

The rooms are not cramped or dirty, the elevator is shaky but not dangerous, the staff is quiet but not unhelpful, the breakfast is lackluster but free. The hotel is moments from I84 and next door to a theater, conveniently. On a side note, the hallways always smell like weed.

While the lobby and hall appeared to be under renovation, it was the room that was in dire need. The carpet was gross, bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom and shower were falling apart. No iron was provided in the room but the staff did manage to locate one for me to use.

Decent hotel for a weekend getaway. Clean, which is a plus. Comfortable for everyome that stayed with me. No complaints at all. Not a 4 star, but I would stay again next time im in town!

We stayed for 2 nights and got good value for what we paid. Still, some improvements could be made that won't cost anything but will make guests more amenable to coming back. Please make sure hair dryers. The trucks/workers outside the hotel woke us up at 5 am. Breakfast was fine, but we had to ask the staff repeatedly to replenish the bagels, cream cheese, napkins, etc. There was only grape jelly available, which I abhor! Why can't there be an assortment?

Couldn't ask for better. A spacious well-equipped room, breakfast included, friendly staff, convenient location. An extremely excellent value.

Shady place. The location is very bad. There are better hotels nerby

We stayed only for a night, while traveling up route 91. The hotel is located right off of the highway, near a gas station and MacDonalds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was old and very dated. There was a huge stain on the carpet and the comforters seemed very, very old! The elevator was so scary, we took the stairs! Its an average hotel off the highway, the area seemed safe, not a bad spot if your just passing through and the price is right. I wouldn't stay for more than a night though, but if I needed to pull of 91 again, I'm going try the Holiday Inn Express up the street.

Was there for a bowling trip. The hotel was a short distance from the alley. The only down fall is the elevator smelled like smoke
