The hotel was quite dingy, holes in the curtains, stained ceiling tiles, leaky sink.

The hospitality was out of this world! Such friendly people.

The staff was less than welcoming. It appeared as though my husband and I were inconveniencing them for staying there. Even for a lower-end hotel the room was cramped, dirty, and looked like a doggie chew toy. My husband felt nauseous after eating their version of breakfast. My husband and I had traveled all day to reach this destination only to feel unwelcomed at the Quality Inn at Barkeyville, PA. If you're travelling a long distance, do not stay at this hotel.

I had 2 rooms with 3 adults and 5 grandchildren for an overnighting our trip east. It was just fine. Throoms were clean with bedding that looked new.

We found thinks to be comfortable and clean with a good breakfast. Basically we were there for just sleep and eat as we had a local funeral to attend.

We had a choice between Motel6 and this Comfort Inn. Having several small kids, we chose the Comfort Inn mostly because the cost was close to Motel6 but included the breakfast. Our stay didn't start too well. The staff was not especially pleasant at our arrival. We arrived at noon and our room was not ready. A staff member was quick to comment to the front desk clerk 'let them wait.' I was quick to say we called 1 1/2 hours before asking for early check in and was told this would not be an issue. Then once we got the room, it was tiny. Small bathroom and bedroom made even smaller by the chair, desk, cabinet, endtables, etc in the room. The room was clean, however the top cover was stained so we stripped it off the bed. We did get our breakfast, but next time I'll stay across the street because rooms are bigger, cleaner and staff more pleasant.

The room was a layover on a long trip home and adequate for our needs

Pulled in late night on August 24th after a full day driving. Lady at the desk very pleasant. Obtained keys(cards) to the rooms we reserved, then, the fun began. We had ordered 2 rooms, and specified NON SMOKING, well, one was non and the other was not. A call to the front desk informed me that they were ordered that way. I read the Orbitz reservation back to her, and, SURPRISE ! it specifically said NON smoking for both rooms. At this point I requested to be moved, which, she said she could not do because there were no spare rooms. The NON smoking room was clean, and, quite nice. Sheets were clean, and, the room was well vacuumed. The SMOKING room smelled like it had not been cleaned in over a year, complete with the ever so desirable yellow film on everything. Turning on the AC, in a desperate act of respiratory futility, to exhaust the putrid air from the room only yielded a stench that could only be described as noxious.I have been in taxis that have smelt better than this. Exhausted and disgusted, my son ( starting college) and daughter said they would stay in that room, (2 singles)and, they gave us the clean one (one queen). We put all the clean clothes in our room and called it a night. In the AM, upon wakening, both of them smelled like they had smoked a pack of cigs. I think what really annoyed me the most, was the fact that the room next to us was vacant when we turned in, and, vacant, when we rose early the next morning. No one even tried to help us out. Live and learn. If you use Orbitz, or, any other service akin to it, call several times prior to your arrival to verify that they have someone on the hotel's staff that can correctly interpret the order, and, then someone on staff capable of executing it. I thought this would be far less complicated than this.

I BOOKED A NON-SMOKING ROOM AND WHEN WE OPENED THE DOOR TO OUR ROOM, IT SMELLED LIKE AN ASH TRAY. I CALLED DOWN TO THE FRONT DESK AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY OVER BOOKED THE HOTEL AND NOTHING ELSE WAS AVAILABLE. I WAS UP EVERY HOUR BECAUSE OF THE SMELL. I HAD TO KEEP THE AC ON HIGH (AND WAS FREEZING) JUST SO IT WOULD CIRCULATE THE AIR IN THE ROOM. THE WALL PAPER WAS FALLING OFF THE WALLS AND SO WAS THE TILE RACK IN THE BATHROOM. THE WATER PRESSURE WAS ALL SCREWED UP AND IT WILL GO HOT TO COLD WITHOUT NOTICE. NEVER...EVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!!!

Spent the day shopping and sightseeing around the Grove City outlet area. Stayed at the Comfort Inn Barkeyville overnight, and then on to Clarion to visit with family. Found the Inn to be friendly and clean. The rooms are small but for the money spent it's OK for a quick nights sleep.

I booked this hotel for a shopping trip I planned to Grove City. The location was great just about 15 minutes away from the Prime outlet mall. The hotel was nothing special it had two small queen beds that looked like doubles, but it was very clean. The beds were a bit uncomfortable but other than that I had no problems with this hotel.
