My room was on the 3rd floor at the front. Across the street is a truck stop with big rigs coming and going at all hours. A room in the back of the building would have been much quieter. The room was clean and stocked and the front desk staff were very pleasant.

Would only recommend this as a place to sleep. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Holes in sheets, dirty, sticky carpet! Only had smoking room (we have asthma) & front desk tried to spray, but smell thru 3rd fl hall & room was overpowering!! At least had fridge in rm & clean breakfast rm (w/ 3 small tables)!

Room had refrig with freezer, coffee maker, microwave. Ended up with Smoking Room, booked non smoking, reservation confirmation came back smoking, called and they corrected it, When I arrived, it had been changed BACK to smoking. Not much in way of breakfast, but it was free and you won't go hungry.

We were in the area for a single night. Imagine our surprise at the special welcoming gift that awaited us upon entering the room-chewing gum on the bedpost. Although we had reserved a smoke-free room, the entire floor stunk of smoke.

the room was great the bed was comfy but tried and tried to get on the wi-fi called the front desk and they told me that i had to call the tech support ( which i thought was kinda strange since i was the guest at the hotel )

Basic hotel in need of upgrade. Tired property. Friendly desk clerk. Limited breakfast. cheap price.

Stay was close to JMU. Good value, clean, and friendly staff

The only saving grace was the desk clerk when we checked in. Our reserved room ended up being on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator; the clerk noticed my husband apparently had a health issue and offered us a 1st floor room before we even knew we were on the 2nd floor. She was very friendly and helpful! Mattresses were broken down and not comfortable with I'll - fitting linens. Refrigerator had ice in the top which had leaked down from the freezer which needed defrosting. Room smelled stale. Dingy.

Driving cross country and needed a place to stay. This fit the bill for cheap and near the highway. The lady that checked us in was friendly. The building is pretty beat up and the room smelled though. The sheets and bathroom were clean. Beds were uncomfortable. On the whole I would stay somewhere else next time. Better than sleeping in the car though.

Non-smoking still has funny oder. Internet was good and channels.

Close to the Shenandoah national park, easy to find and the staff are friendly.

Desk clerk was very polite and accommodating. Rooms needs better dusting. Overall refurbishing also needed.

Linens had holes, no matress pad on bed. Half of the lights did not work. We did not expect much, but hoped for something a little better than this.

Room okay. Needs an upgrade...no matress pad on bed...holes in linens. Staff very nice.

Overnight stay, very comfortable, staff very friendly, continental breakfast was average. will stay again

Hotel Distance from main attractions in Harrinsonburg is not accurate as appears on the website. Beds and sheets unconfortable. Recommended for price only.

The beds and pillows were really bad. However, my room had a microwave and fridge, which was a selling point. The price is great, but you sacrifice comfort, service, and some of the hotel "basics" that we have become used to in the past 15 years.

The room was dirty, staff was rude; refused to clean room or switch rooms. Hair in the sink, used soap in the tub. Bad experience.

Well it seems like this hotel is frequented by college students, and while I was once in college too i don't think that I was as bad as they were... it sounded like they were bowling in the hallway.. you could hear everything... the beds are like sleeping on the floor and the tv was less than average.. although it's a super 8 what should i really have expected?
