In the countryside but close to restaurants and activities. The Tavern in Dayton was very close and great food. The hwy 81 was very convenient.
I enjoyed staying in a hysterical house the room was Laughlin breakfast was great every morning in the staff was very pleasant
Beautiful log home with updated bedrooms/bathrooms. Wrap around porch with rocking chairs was nice at sunset. Friendly staff and delish breakfast.

Was very pleased with this B&B. Friendly and welcoming staff. Loved the communal breakfast with other guests and getting to know them. Loved that this place was out in the countryside where it’s calm and serene. I had the Bluestone room which was very spacious, so much bigger than a hotel room! Plus I had a door that goes out on to the porch at the side of the place, with rocking chairs! Also really enjoyed the log cabin look and feel. Will definitely come back!

This is the 2nd time we stayed here and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The B&B is a beautiful log home and well maintained. The rooms are very nice and the bathrooms are updated and very nice as well. The innkeepers, Ryan and Katie, are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good.
Great experience! Clean rooms, wonderful light breakfast, beautiful scenery and warm, helpful staff. The walls are pretty thin, but the other people in the inn that night were very quiet, so it didn't bother us at all!

This is a beautifully restored 1750 era log home. The rooms are so comfortable and lovely and the home is surrounded by wide porches with rocking chairs. The hosts are friendly and interesting and served a delicious breakfast. We absolutely recommend the Silver Lake Bed& Breakfast and would stay there again.
Ryan greeted us for a late check in with a welcoming smile. Candles glowing in the Windows. Cozy beautifully remodeled and decorated log cabin out in the countryside of Harrisonburg. Easy 10 minute ride to town and restaurants. Perfect spot for visiting JMU parents or folks passing through VA like we were. Breakfast was a bonus with fresh fruit and french toast with bacon. All in all, a great little retreat from the highway!
