Nice cheap hotel. No elevator. Good overall stay and good breakfast

Location is good. Staff is excellent. Unfortunately room shows age. Mattress was like a rock and not flat. Floor light didn't work. Very poor TV reception with many stations snowy. Therefore this room scored negative for value. At least the coffee was decent.

These place has seen better days. Don't waste your money

Convenient location for my trip. Clean and affordable.

The downside was no elevator. It wasn't as horrible to lug bags up the stairs as it was to follow the maze to your room which seemed to be in an entirely separate building once you were upstairs. It was clean, reasonably comfortable, included breakfast and served our needs. It was overpriced but we needed it and we waited last minute to book a hotel. Not bad and as my husband said- it was alright.

Very nice stay. As always a wonderful hotel. Very nive room, staff and amenities. Nice breakfast bar.

Good choice for our visit to Harrisonburg, Va. Beds very comfortable, clean…quiet Only comment no Elevator….. a bit of a struggle with suitcases.. would not recommend for older folks….

We were just saying for the night and the hotel served it's purpose! It was clean, staff was nice and free breakfast.

It's a very clean hotel, though there are weird layout issues where you are opening doors to get to different hallways. We asked the staff about dinner in the area and she knew nothing. That was disappointing. Our room was next to a part of the parking lot where a bus was warming up in the morning, causing a decent amount of noise. Not terrible, but still not quiet.

For a weekend away to attend a training, the locations of this hotel was amazing. The staff were nice and efficient, the room was clean, and there was a lovely breakfast buffett in the morning. Enjoyed my stay. Cost wise it was a bit steep, imo, but that's probably what I get for booking late! :-)

Had all necessary amenities. Internet was fast, and room had great tea and coffee. I was surprised and how clean and handsomely furnished the room was. Staff was friendly upon check in/out, and the free breakfast was delicious

Spartan hotel perfect for what it is intended for. Stayed here with a pet

Hotel was right off highway. Room was clean, breakfast was good.

My family and I have stayed in a number of hotels, motels, B and B's and other places around the world and this place was the worst place I have stayed in 40 years. The room and windows were dirty. The shower curtain was molded. The beds were small. We reservered a non-smoking room and they gave it away earlier in the day. It was a football/family weekend in Harrisonburg so we had no other option. The prices were four to five times the normal rate. The service was poor. When I checked out, the lady behind the counter said, "You can go." Not thank you for staying, come again ... anything that would have shown some apprecaition for spending nearly $300 a night to stay in this place. The breakfast was good. The food was warm and fresh and the eatting area was clean. The location was excellent for our trips to and from the university as well as plenty of places to eat near by. Access to I-86 was just around the corner.

I stayed at the hotel with another coach as we participated in a state tournament at JMU. The hotel was right off of one of the main drags with many restaurants and shops. This helped for the downtime we had after our competition. The beds were super comfortable and helped me get rested for the two days of competition. The TV was an older model, so it did not have the best picture and the continental breakfast was simple with no frills. We had some problems with our keys, but the front desk staff was quick and happy to help. A good place to stay for weekend trip to JMU.

We were in town for a graduation which jacked up the prices big time- the location couldn't have been more convenient for us, but the accomodations were minimal and it felt more like a motel. Everyone was very friendly, basic free breakfast, it was ok in a pinch.

This was the right choice for us for comfort and convenience. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the continental breakfast the next morning. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Check in/out was fast and easy. We were visiting the JMU campus and the upper entrance was very close. There was a nice shopping center right across the way, with a favorite book store and restaurant. There was a drug store right around the corner and an office supply store which we needed. It is right by the 81 exit and easy to get to.

I was greeted with a smile and checked in quickly. The desk clerks were very knowledgable about the area and very helpful. The room had everything I expected but was actually decorated much better than I expected. Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool was larger than I expected. Overall, the staff was friendly, the room was clean and the landscaping was amazing. I would recommend to anyone.
