The hotel was a great location. A little under 3 miles from the Hershey Park. The pool is small and there were people who smoked although a non smoking sign was there. Rooms have been updated and clean.

Once we were settled into the room for the night (2 small kids), I pulled the cover that lays on top of the blanket, not sure what it is called, and underneath was some type of stain, crusty mess on it. It was obvious that this had not been cleaned, flipped over and put back on the bed. Disgusting!

The staff is veryf friendly. No lifeguard for the pool. They haves signs that that states "Swim at your own risk". 10 minutes from Hershey Park, 17 minutes from the casino and12 minutes from Wal-Mart and several eateries. The rooms and bathroom is extremely small so if you're claustrophobic look for another hotel. The bathroom door has just enough clearance from hitting the bed.

I selected this room for the close proximity to HersheyPark. While the staff was friendly, the room was unbearable. The smell was horrific (strong mildew odor) and the staff tried to address it but we could not tolerate it. They had no other available rooms so we had to cut our trip short to travel two hours back home in the middle of the night. We received a refund and an offer to stay again for a discounted rate. This doesn't make up for essentiallt ruining our family's trip to the area. I would not recommend this place at all. We were left with no choice but to sleep in our car or drive home as the facility was not up to par. The room looked like the pictures on the website but the smell is not tolerable if you have any allergies, asthma, etc. or can't stand the wet basement mildewy smell.

Friendly staff. Accommodations were as expected for the price...Very basic. Amenities provided were minimal... the hair dryer conked out after 4 minutes and the hand soap disintegrated after two uses. LOL. Bed was nice, pillows were way too soft. HOWEVER, it was close to Hershey, was relatively clean and secure, and allowed us to use the money at the park!

Minutes from Hershey Theater and Hershey Park. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly during check in and check out.

Parking was horrible. Location was awesome. Rooms were too small. Decor way out of date.

Great location and best value for the money. Will come back if come to this area again.

Great weekend stay. Close to everything in the area. You can walk to the Hershey Pantry which is an added bonus.

We had two rooms for seven days, would have immediatley moved if hadn't been prepaid. Upon check-in noticed both rooms smelled. One room had hair and empty shampoo bottle in the shower, the other had empty shampoo bottle and gritty dirty bathtub. Air conditioners smelled and messsed with our sinuses and allergies. There were old cigarette butts mashed out on the back porch that stayed there all week, and a huge pile of dog mess on the adjacent sidewalk that stayed there for several days till we asked them to clean it up. They did, but left the adjacent cigarette butts and litter that was scattered around the porch. Needs a total restaffing.

Very small pillows and rooms. Basically a clean hotel but small rooms and bedding. Breakfast was decent and hotel close to Hershey Park.

I stayed at the Howard Johnson for a weekend in June, which is prime season. We were going to a local brewery in the area and it was in a great location. Room was not glorious but suited our needs for the weekend. Only downfall was that you could hear people running around above us (we were on ground level) all in all it was a decent experience.

Very nice. the rooms were comfortable and the staff was very nice. They have a nice pool that is heated. For 67 dollars its well worth what I paid. others hotels wanted over 100 a block away. I would stay here again.

Overall the hotel is pleasant, staff are nice & helpful, not far from main attractions. Its not expensive so u can't expect it to be superior. Free breakfast. It did the job for an overnight. Wouldn't stay for long though

We arrived early evening of July 2nd after a long day in Philadelphia. We had made a mistake with our reservation which the desk clerk was able to change for us. Rooms are basic, but clean. Each room has a refrigerator which was very nice! Found the continental breakfast more than adequate. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Overall, it was a great value for the location near Hershey sites!

Was pleasantly surprised with our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the hotel bar was great, and the location was fantastic. Only a 5 minute drive from the park and other attractions. Overall for the price a very good value.

Staff was pleasant, helpful and very curteous. We had lots of fun and rested well.

Carpets dirty. Stink bugs in room(killed 2). Need more healthy alternatives at continental breakfast- everything loaded with sugar! Tried to charge phone- when returned for second night they shut power off to the lamp with the plug- had to charge it in the bathroom! Paid $245 per night with tax due to local car show- there should be a law about price gouging- and they say car dealers are thieves?

Hershey was our first stop on our honeymoon road trip and we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The location is ideal, just minutes from the Hershey attractions. We received free bottles water upon check in and were pleased to dind out that we had been upgraded to a larger room. The hotel restaurant "what if..." is a bit pricey but has a unique menu. Our room had a door leading directly outside which was very convenient in unloading and loading the car. Everyone on the staff was great and willing to go out of their way to help. We even got a call shortly after check in making sure everything was alright. Rooms are impeccably clean! Would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Hershey as you just can't beat the value of this hotel.

It was very worth the price. Clean, simple, easy, convenient and cheap. Would recommend to everyone.
