bad service in all

I arrived early at 2pm there were nobody at the service counter, waited 30 minutes still nobody to check in, finally i used a phone at the front desk i called the attended and he told me the check in was at 4pm.

Pool was dirty when we told staff they ignored us.

AC unit in room was broken (functional but covering fell off in the middle of the night) and door lock hinge also fell upon closing door.

Not much to really like. Pretty much , meh. The location was pretty convenient but near busy railroad tracks. Must have been at least half a dozen freight trains going by, blowing the horns at crossings during the overnight. I'm talking after midnight too. The thermostat for the heater in the room wasn't working right or just not accurate. Many TV channels had poor signal quality and were coming in choppy. The front walls must be thin too. The rooms were non-smoking but that didn't stop smokers going outside and lighting up. You could smell some of that cigarette smoking seeping in. Not to mention the guy in the room next door was a constant cougher outside smoking away.

I did not like the fact that there is no handicap accessibility to get up to the second floor. My mother uses a wheelchair for extended periods of time and had to walk up a long flight of stairs. The front desk clerk did see if we would be able to switch to the first floor. Overall it was a good experience

We have stayed here in the past. Clean and staff are very nice. I did notice the breakfast wasnt as good this time as it was in the past.

This was the worst experience i ever had in my life. I had my 3 kids including my 5 month old and asked for a refund due to kids being on spring break and wanting a pool and pool being closed and us comjng from 7 hours away. They were not budging and the guy was so rude and disrespectful about it even to my mother who is in her 60s. We left and were going to get another room somewhere else bu werent willing to have to pay for another room and came back and as he was checking in i mentioned to my neice that i was going to give them a bad rating and the front desk guy calls the GM and im thinking he is going tonfinally refund us and says that is a threat and i have to leave without being able to get a refund. I was beyond confused and appalled. Inasked to speak to the glGM and he was such a disgusting man i just left. They kicked out a woman and 3 young kids and an elderly woman bc i said i was going to give them a bad review and wasnt even talking to the guy. I have written the bbb as well as disputed this with paypal and my father has contacted tge Wyndham headquarters. The thing that is crazy is i was so respectful and never raised my voice and come from a respected family and what if i didnt have funds to get another room we would have been sleeping in our car for the night or deiving back home 7 hours. My neice who is 10 cannot stop talking about it and was in tears when we left. Do not stay here. These people are horrible. Literally a disgusting experience after a great

This is a very pleasant surprise. After staying at a few bad hotels, this one was a very pleasant change for the GOOD!

They carry these portable phones but in my case the phone was in the office on the desk So sol Annoying .....spoke with other guests similar situation

I don’t know what continent the breakfast was from but I think it may have been Antarctica

Hotel was priced right for what you get. It was clean and the people were nice. There are no elevators, so if you have issues climbing stairs, be sure to let them know to put you on the ground floor. Our biggest gripe would be the parking. There is a fairly popular restaurant in the hotel. If you get to the hotel at dinner time, you may have issues finding a parking spot anywhere. We drove around the building twice one night before the spot designated for guest checking in opened up. We parked there for an hour or so till things started clearing out at the restaurant. Maybe designating some spots for Hotel Guests Only would help.

The recent renovations over the last year have vastly improved the quality of the accommodations.

The hotel was a great location. A little under 3 miles from the Hershey Park. The pool is small and there were people who smoked although a non smoking sign was there. Rooms have been updated and clean.

Once we were settled into the room for the night (2 small kids), I pulled the cover that lays on top of the blanket, not sure what it is called, and underneath was some type of stain, crusty mess on it. It was obvious that this had not been cleaned, flipped over and put back on the bed. Disgusting!

The staff is veryf friendly. No lifeguard for the pool. They haves signs that that states "Swim at your own risk". 10 minutes from Hershey Park, 17 minutes from the casino and12 minutes from Wal-Mart and several eateries. The rooms and bathroom is extremely small so if you're claustrophobic look for another hotel. The bathroom door has just enough clearance from hitting the bed.

I selected this room for the close proximity to HersheyPark. While the staff was friendly, the room was unbearable. The smell was horrific (strong mildew odor) and the staff tried to address it but we could not tolerate it. They had no other available rooms so we had to cut our trip short to travel two hours back home in the middle of the night. We received a refund and an offer to stay again for a discounted rate. This doesn't make up for essentiallt ruining our family's trip to the area. I would not recommend this place at all. We were left with no choice but to sleep in our car or drive home as the facility was not up to par. The room looked like the pictures on the website but the smell is not tolerable if you have any allergies, asthma, etc. or can't stand the wet basement mildewy smell.
