I woke up in the morning and noticed little, black winged gnats (dead) in the sink. One was on the bed that I slept in.

Stay was good pool was fun busy area on a one way street.

A nice and quiet night near our fishing spot at Duncannon.

I liked the fridge and microwave in my room. Only one staff member went out of their way to help. Breakfast was OK at best.

Our stay was wonderful. Sleep well and had a great breakfast. No noise and everything went well.

This motel was way beyond what we expected. I would without a doubt stay there again.

The general appearance of the hotel as one arrived and checked in was rough. The room smelled antiseptic; the sheets were either well worn or not clean, and we found a curly black hair in a towel. If my wife had seen the cricket on the sheets of the turned down bed she would have bolted. The hotel we stayed in the next night was about 20% more expensive and about 200% nicer. This was something I would have expected to pay about $50 for and still would have wondered about the care it was receiving.

We needed a place to stay close to the Mwcum auction. This was it! Trailer parking and all, the people couldn't have been nicer.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, aside from a few small mildew spots in the bathroom, but dated. The mattresses were below average. I wished there were a mini-fridge, especially for the price I paid. It's about 20 miles from Hershey and the outlets. It was pretty loud, as it is a true motel and all the rooms have outdoor entrances. Each center landing has a table and chairs that people use as a smoking area. Unfortunately that is right near the stairs and elevator, so there is no way to avoid those areas. The highlight of breakfast was the make your own waffles. Other than that the oatmeal was like glue and all else was dry cereal and typical continental breakfast fare. All in all, not bad and WAY better then the no-tell motel a few doors down.

I selected this hotel based on the star rating, for the free breakfast, and its location. other than that I am easy to please. It was about a 30 minute easy drive to Hershey park. Nice area, family restaurants and groceries close by. BUT, the hotel smelled musty, like old socks or budussy, if you know what I mean. AC was noisy, tile had mold and mildew, sign posted to tell you to turn on the dirty old bent ceiling fan, to help circulate the AC, shower curtain mounts had broken the tile. Really old 21 " TV. Free breakfast was over at 9 am, sharp! Worst part: DND sign had been put on our door when we returned late the first night (not by us), then told I would have to come down to get my own sheets and change my own bed, unless i wanted to wait until morning. Sorry I have worked in hotels for 20 years now, that's an old hskp trick for when they have too many rooms to clean

Room was comfortable and clean. Good value for the money. Breakfast was amazing! Belgium waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels, juice and coffee. Outside pool was clean and refreshing.

Stayed for night during the Hershey Park visit, very disappointed got a smoking even after I made special request for a non-smoking room during booking. The room smelled awful and not clean. Toilet flush not working, even after I called reception and they did not send anyone till we left. I will nevey stay in Days Inn again.

I CHOOSE TO STAY AT THIS DAYS INN BECAUSE MY DAUGHTERS HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION WAS CLOSE TO IT. WHEN I ARRIVED I WAS PLEASED WITH THE WAY I WAS TREATED AND THE OVERALL CLEANLINESS AND COMFORT OF THIS PLACE. I WILL DEFINETLY STAY AT ANOTHER DAYS INN.

I have stayed here before and it is convenient to the Pa farm show complex. great value, friendly people good breakfast.

It is perfect for us as it is only blocks away from our place of meeting. Very easy access coming and going. Will return again next year.

I went to Harrisburg for an overnight business trip and took my 84 year old Mom along. This motel was GREAT and EXTRMELY clean! Even the elevators were clean. The staff was extra helpful in getting us a room close to the elevator so Mom didn't have to walk to far. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, waffles, donuts and muffins, and even gravy and buscuits! Not bad. I would definitely stay here again.

Great price! Conveniently located off exit! Close to gas station with convenience store ab pizzeria! Right next to wendys! Can't beat it! People in Harrisburg, not just the hotel, are just not very friendly or happy!

Because we used an internet price, they in turn would not bring us clean towels but every two days. We stayed four nights and they only cleaned the room once. Now I am for saving energy, but, it is nice for someone to check to see if you need clean towels, toilet paper, etc. Room was clean when we got there and staff was friendly, OK stay.

I only chose this hotel since it was close to my brother in laws home and we were there to visit him and do some other family activities. The price was right. I really didn't expect much. It was very clean. There was a lifeguard on duty at the well maintained pool. The room was cleaned in the morning while we were gone. This doesn't sound like much but I've stayed other places that I came back to at 3 and it still wasn't ready. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. We rented kayaks from "City Island" which was very fun. We went to Hershey Park. Another day, we went to Gettysburg and visited the new visitor center. I will warn you to stay away from a resteraunt that was up the road from the hotel. I think it was called "The Deck" or something like that. It was terrible! . There is a great restaraunt on the other side of the river from City Island but I can't remember the name of it either. It's beside another restaraunt called the Rock Bass Inn. It had a great outdoor seating area right over the river and the food was great.

Everything we needed--a plesant stay

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your recent stay. I understand your concern about the winged gnats; these insects are completely harmless and part of the beauty of the Susquehanna River. They do enter the guest rooms and are attracted to light -- whilst bothersome they are completely harmless and we do have an arrangement with our pest control experts to help minimize the impact on the guest rooms. We look forward to hosting you again in the future.
