Great experience, nice hotel staff and very clean!
Fine for a short stay. Room was clean and accommodations were decent other than the pull out sofa, and desk chair needs to be replaced. The sofa bed was old and very uncomfortable; springs coming through. Unfortunately that is were I was sleeping, as we were a family of six. The beds looked very comfortable, and everyone else had a good night sleep. There is a pool, small but my boy's still enjoyed it very much. The breakfast was decent as well, and staff was very friendly.
Accommodations were good and fairly close to Hershey park. Also some nearby shopping made this an enjoyable trip
I stayed 2 nights. I had a very unpleasant experience when I returned to my room the 1st night. I was out all day and looking to have a nice relaxing evening. What to my surprise the room was never cleaned. Dirty towels on the floor, bed unmade, and lots of trash in the can. When I called downstairs to the front desk, they said they would find out what happened and get back to me. They never did so I went downstairs to see what happened to demand a clean room. To my surprise there was no one at the front desk. Everyone had decided to take a smoke break. Once I found the two on duty (outside smoking) I voiced my complaint. IT WAS THEN THAT THEY SENT SOMEONE UPSTAIRS TO CLEAN MY ROOM. Really, do I have to ask you to clean my room?????
Very clean, bathroom good warm shower and good water pressure
Great hotel. We had a nice large room with a jacuzzi and a fire place/heater.
Was there with parents for overnight and it was wonderful.. No complaints.. Enjoyed the young man who made fresh coffee at 9pm lovely young man.. Red head don't recall his name.. Made fresh cookies too. Very nice. My parents said their tub drained slowly but that was the only issue and they did tell the hotel staff upon departure.. Our room was perfect.. Thanks so much.
Pros: Indoor heated pool and hot tub. Friendly staff. Fresh homemade cookies upon arrival. Continental breakfast. Cons: One of the elevators was broken and there was trash left in the pool room, but other than that we would definitely stay there again. My son and husband loved it there.
Cost effective when visiting hershey; good condition; comfortable; breakfast was bad; staff wasnt very helpful; there was no milk for cereal;
Although the hotel was far from full occupancy, I was given a handicapped room on the lower level. Window had sheer curtains but draperies did not cover entire opening. Thus, no room darkening so as to block out anyone in parking lot.
Not disappointed very clean convenient to our final destination
We arrived at hotel at about 11am they said our rooms were not ready ( we did not expect it to be just thought we would check) . We went to the Hershey park came back at 6:30 to check in. I was told that one room was what we booked the other room was changed to another type of room. I told them I wanted the room we booked they said there were no rooms of that type available. They said the outside company O should not have sold us that room because there were none available when we booked. We booked this hotel 7 weeks in advance there is no way there were no rooms. When we went to the first room we were given it was the ADA room which is fine but I know they hold on to that room until last in case they have a customer that in in a wheelchair. It appears to me if you book through the outside company O they wait and give you whatever room is left over not what you book. The staff lied to me about the availability of the rooms.
This was a great hotel to stay at, nearby Hershey park. Very clean, nice sized rooms and free breakfast. I would recommend it!
We live only 5 minutes away but stayed here when our house flooded. The location is very easy off the highway and the rooms are larger than apartments that my friends have lived in. We got a suite which had a living room area as well as area for the bed. The bathrooms were a good size and had a spacious bathtub. Our baby had no problem entertaining herself in the mirrored doors for the closet. We used the pool and hot tub every night. The temperatures were perfect! The gym had a couple of treadmills and a tv. Not much room in there, but adequate. Our family took advantage of breakfast each morning. The food was honestly a little bit strange and not great quality. There are frozen egg patty things most mornings (tasted like fish one day and like pancakes the next). The meat selections were sausage, corn beef hash, and soggy chicken patties with gravy. The sausage was pretty good, but the rest were not. They have a make your own waffle station so that was the redeeming factor. There is a McDonald's within walking distance so if you are picky lime us that might do the trick. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our stay was hassle free and we were able to pick up a fresh piece of fruit and a cookie on the way to out room each evening. We will recommend this hotel to our families when they come to visit! There are lots of restaurants in the area if you like to eat out. The hotel might have about 100 rooms. Not very big and nice and quiet. Out rooms were very clean. Maybe the hot tub suites are harder to clean? I heard the receptionist talking to somebody on the phone about romance packages. This is a NON SMOKING AND NO PETS ALLOWED hotel!!!!
We like staying at this hotel as it is close to our family. The only problem was the chlorine in the pool was quite strong.
Hotel was inexpensive and had a hot tub and pool so it fit my needs. Breakfast was on the large size for this type hotel. The bed was a bit hard but not totally uncomfortable. However, I did notice that the granite counters in the bath were not clean immediately on arrival and made a paste with the soap and my handtowel to clean it off before I set my kit down. I have never had a sticky countertop at a hotel before. The room is rather small but does include a microwave and a fridge. Overall, if you need an inexpensive place that's not a Motel 6 it will work.
Booking this location was my mistake....but the hotel itself & staff made my week's stay very comfortable. the staff was friendly & very hospitable. the breakfast each morning was excellent, & the wait staff did a good job of keeping the food hot & plentiful. My only complaint was the regular coffee tasted like decaf or strangely processed, like 'instant'.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel, and the beds are great. Workout room has Life Fitness equipment, teh best in my opinion. Breakfast included, a good selection, and excellent staff and facility as well. Close to a good assortment of eating establishments.
stopped here on way to and from Hersey World. Park wasn't open so this was a 1 day stop. Very nice facility.
The room itself was clean and the hotel was well maintained! The only issue we had was that the tub had a bit of a mold smell when you were taking a shower. Other than that the bathroom was good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We went to Hershey park for the day and it stormed and my son's shoes got soaked! Those were his only shoes he had with him so I went to put them in the guest laundry dryer but it was full! I spoke to the receptionist and she happily offered to put them in the housekeeping dryer! When we checked in we needed a crib for my 6 month old and they happily brought it up and set it up with blankets and sheets! Most places I've been to they just put it in your room and you have to set it up. It was just some of the little things that put them above the rest! They also had a book shelf that you could borrow from which was kind of nice. Their breakfast was pretty darn good. We expected to get what most hotels offer in their continental breakfast, which is bagels and some cereal. They had waffles, eggs, sausage, and bunch of other things! Overall, it was a great stay and a very good hotel!
