Room was generally ok, habitable, however slightly damp. We had to advise the reception 24 hours in advance if we wanted the room clean, however they forgotten one time which means we missed out and had to use dirty towels. Our biggest problem was something out of the accommodations control, the constant noise of the other occupants. We stayed 6 nights, not one of those nights were peaceful, constant loud banging noises and other noises. One of our neighbors had their television on all night with the sound up high. People coming in and out all hours of the night and early morning. Surely the hotel Mano would have acted on the noise complaints. We only stayed here due to the location. Generally expensive for what you got.
This property looked nothing like the photos. Was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Staff was not very friendly. Front desk staff answered 2 phone calls while I waited to check in. I waited for almost 10 minutes before i was helped and was the only person waiting to check in. Towels and bedding low quality and had stains. I requested room cleaning day 3/6 and sheets were not changed the bed was just remade with same sheets. The bathroom was not fully cleaned as well. On day 4/6 Housekeeping ask me while passing my room if I wanted clean towels I said no I don’t need towels right now. When i requested room cleaning day 6/6 my room was not cleaned because housekeeping told desk that they asked me other day(when she passed by my room) if i wanted service and i said “No”, so they didn’t clean my room even upon request. Front desk told us they couldn’t do anything about since housekeeping left and that they can clean it the next day when we were checking out the next day. Would not stay again was not very satisfied with this property or my stay here.

No complimentary water. The area is run down. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Our room window didn’t lock so I was paranoid all night. The door had a gap to the outside so the wind kept me up all night. Bathrooms are nice. Carpet needs to be replaced. Restaurant next door was great.
This was a great quaint hotel within easy walking distance to the Grove and convenient drive to Hollywood drive and through the hills. Rooms were clean with large shower. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice clean room, comfortable bed and nice staff
I love this hotel. It is clean and the staff is great. I have stayed here before and there was no charge for parking. When I checked in this time they said there was a $25 charge for parking which I did not expect. Still a good value for the price.
Some guy is living in the garage. The heating system did not work
Great place and great location. Staff was great. Pool and parking is nice. Only issue was that our air conditioning didn’t work and no one was coming until after we checked out to fix it. Fortunately, the fan in the window was adequate since we were out and about all day and it was cool at night. Waiving our resort fee was kind considering there was no air. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends!
We loved this place! Okay, if you $1,000.00 a night room and amenities then maybe you should look elsewhere. If you are looking for vintage, cute, great pool and super grill downstairs then this is the place. In fact, I’d take this place over the $1,000.00 hotel! PS…Immaculate too!
