This was a large room with a huge bathroom all for a very decent price! The room was very clean and the staff was GREAT! We had a problem with the television and the maintenance man repaired it and this made us happy. The breakfast was ok. The toilet and shower both did their jobs great! The motel was close to all the sights we were in town to see.

The rooms are clean, parking is limited. Access to the highways is very convenient, however the breakfast area had an odd smell which seemed to be part sweat and part heavily scented candles so we passed on the "free" breakfast.

We took this room because of the price. One thing a person driving past would notice that you can't see from the internet is the parking: there is very, very little parking, and if the motel is full, you will not be able to park nearby. This is something that should be noted in the advert as this proved to be problematic for us. If you can get to your room early and no one is around, grab your spot and not move your car, then you will not have a problem with parking. If you have to leave for food, visits or anything else, be ready to spend a long time seeking a place to park as the street next to our building has a fire hydrant inconveniently placed just opposite of the drive in front of the rooms. There is a small dirt lot for "trucks" but I would not recommend braving that with a new vehicle as most of the traffic that I watched attempt to park there were either rookies, partially blind or drunk... or so it appeared to me (for the record, I am a CDL holding retired Truck Captain in the Fire Department, so I can drive anything backwards - watching the trucks was quite comical, but it would not be remotely funny had I parked in the "truck parking" area). Other than that I found the rooms to be large, well maintained, clean, and pleasant. Our bed was King sized and there was plenty of room for me to run from my overly aggressive wife as she can be dangerous when sleeping (LOL). The bathroom was wheelchair accessible (but access to the room door wasn't, unless I missed the ramp up to the walkway, which I may well have completely overlooked in my distress over the parking). As I am disabled and limited in motility requiring a cane at the least, but I am able to walk most of the time (with a cane, of course), I found the bathrooms to be more than ample with rail hand-holds to get in/out of the tub. I didn't ask specifically for a disabled room, so this was pleasant and something to remember about the rooms should i visit again. The location was excellent as well. Directly across the street from a CVS and Walgreen's pharmacy which is in the parking lot of a strip mall with Chinese food, Pizza and a grocery store. There is also easy access to get to downtown for sightseeing Mark Twain's boyhood home. It was easy to turn left across traffic in the mornings when no one was out and about however I found that during traffic, it is easier to turn right, then go past the underpass and turn around. There is a light to turn into the grocery/CVS. One more thing that my wife and I think people should know about is: the coffee pot I am not sure if there was some kind of Allen Funt wanna-be prankster who supplied the pots to the motel chain, but the pot was more of a dribble-pot than coffee pot. No matter how slow or careful you were bound to spill as much as you poured into a cup... Access to things in the area is good, and I can't complain about the price or amenities. I enjoyed the stay and would rate this much higher except the parking debacle.

Stayed here for overnight trip to area. Clean room and friendly staff. No elevators to upper floor and no pool if you need that. Breakfast was so so. Internet/wifi worked ok. Easy to find but a little hard to cross street if going in that direction for any reason. Lots of restaurants in the immediate area.

Stayed here before in 2012 and was pleasantly surprised. It's an older place tucked in the corner of highways 36 and 61. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with micro, fridge and coffee maker. Both the room and bathroom are large and easy to get around in. Biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast with an extremely helpful staff. All for around 60 bucks making it a great value. There is a mall across the street and It has outside, park in from of your doors. If there was an outdoor pool the place would definitely garner a 5+.

We felt like the rates were great, the room was clean and the service good. We ate the breakfast and walked away satisfied. It is by the highway so noisy but we ran the air conditioning fan all night and slept well. It was easy access to all the sites we wanted to see. We would stay again.

Thanks to Stacy @ check-in who was sweet, smiling & helpful, placing us in a clean & comfortable room. Exterior entrance doors made it so much easier to unload luggage, coolers, etc. Double queen w/fridge/micro & flat screen TV. Lots of channels including TCM :-) Bathroom very clean with huge counter area. Generous supply of towels. Slept well on comfortable beds with nice linens. Loved the easily accessible bedside charging station w/2 plugs & 4 usb ports which enabled us to charge phones, tablet, bluetooth, laptop & CPAP breathing machine without having to pull beds or nightstand away from the wall to hunt down an outlet. Free wifi with full bars of signal and yet it had a tendency to run slow, although at other times sped along nicely so it's probably a provider issue and not the fault of the hotel. The only other downside we experienced was trying to park two Toyota Tundra crew cab trucks in a parking lot designed for compact cars. It was do-able with careful maneuvering. Afterward we noticed an additional parking area across the driveway but always feel our vehicles are safer parked in front of our room. We left out early the next morning & didn't partake of continental. All in all it was a decent room at a great price ~ seems like it is getting harder & harder to find an acceptable room under $100 so this was a real bargain. It is an older property, and nothing fancy but has been well maintained & OK for an overnight. The good DEFINITELY outweighed the not-so-good but ask to see your room first to make sure it will meet your needs.

The room was fairly clean but there was a dusty main air vent in the heater in the room. The water was hot but couldn't get the shower mechanism to work. The clock was blinking. How hard is it for the housekeeper to set the correct time. The area was noisy because of the main road and freeway. Internet was so-so. The staff was friendly.

We were surprised at the size of the room, 2 queen beds and plenty of space to move around. The bathroom was also quite spacious with the vanity running the length of the room (approx. 8 feet), the desk clerk told me that all the rooms were wheelchair accessible after their renovation. Good price, great beds, free hot breakfast = excellent stay.

This poor lodging has been road hard and put away wet. This is a tired property that is in dire need of a make-over, although it is not a horrible place to stay it is a depressing little place. The Pros: Very friendly and on-the-ball desk staff was impressive. They are doing their best to be professional and helpful. Bed was awesome for a good night's sleep. My room was impressively spacious. The Not Pros: The room needs more detailed cleaning from housekeeping. A few stray human hairs on the sink and floor, a couple insects (live and dead) in the room and bathtub, and a general feeling of not-quite-cleaned atmosphere in the room. Wonky internet connection was a frustration, and the microscopic parking lot was a challenge. The property is located about 30 yards off the highway which makes for the occasional truck/vehicle noise. I must admit that when I left i would have given it two stars, but after some reflection I think 3 stars is more fair. Poking around Hannibal I think this style property is the norm here. But, it was not awful, and if they can come up with the $$$ to give it a much needed facelift it will benefit.
