Lovely spot to stay, very central to everything. Clean and comfortable the only shame is we couldn’t stay longer so didn’t get to take advantage of all the amenities, hopefully next time. Many thanks for everything

I stayed in the Heritage Hotel with my family for one night and wish i could have stayed longer. We stayed in a five person villa which had everything we needed and overlooked the mountains. The facilities were great and although didn't use the pool, it looked inviting. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and gave us drink vouchers when our villa wasn't ready for check in. I will definitely be returning here and would recommend for a weekend break.

We had such an amazing time in Hanmer Springs and my only regret was that we didn't stay longer! Our room wasnt ready when we arrived, but the hotel was kind enough to provide us with a complementary glass of wine each, which was really good of them. It was a beautiful place to stay and i will definitely be returning. Staff were polite and helpful and the room was clean. 10 out of 10 in my books! I would also highly recommend eating at the Whatever Cafe for dinner. So good!

Is an impressive property from outside, very clean inside, and the gardens are amazing. Rooms are average, toilets were old and with a lack of style. Restaurant room is massive and wonderful, Christmas decoration was very bad and look very cheap. Rooms service was disappointing, soup was so small that I have to complain, buffet breakfast is not worthy, if you travel to some resorts in Vietnam you would understand what a real breakfast buffet means.

We stayed a night in one of the villas, clean and quiet. Easy walk into the village and all it's great amenities and the hot pools. Check in was easy for the busy period. Recommend staying here if looking for a hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding and although the wait staff for the wedding were lovely, we had very disappointing service from the front of house. I walk with a crutch and have a baby. We arrived early for check in and on being allocated a room up 2 long flights of stairs, asked if there was any possibility of a more accessible room (there is no lift). I was asked when I injured myself and told that I should have let the hotel know. I apologised and said I didn’t know they didn’t have a lift. I was given quite a lot of attitude and continued to be interrogated across the lobby. It was rude and an embarrassment to the hotel. I have stayed at many hotels around the world and never been spoken to in such a manner. We were given another room on the ground floor after much fuss and complaint about how difficult it was to change rooms and being told housekeeping was wondering why we were moving rooms etc. On our second morning, we went to the restaurant, only to be told we did not have breakfast included that day. We questioned it as we had a special wedding deal and it had been fine the first day but were still told no. I was heading back to our room to get my phone with the confirmation email when the lady at the front desk asked as I walked by if it was us they were ringing about from the restaurant. She said that since we were with the wedding, we did have breakfast included but there was nothing on their computer about it. We then went back to the restaurant with little appetite after having to go backwards and forwards with a baby in tow. This was all confirmation of the very unhelpful service we had initially making the booking by telephone. It was generally disgraceful service and quite offensive at times. I would not recommend staying here at all but do recommend going to the restaurant for dinner. The food is lovely. Particularly beware if you have a disability/mobility issue....the rudeness is difficult to tolerate and there is no need to when there are so many other places where staff go out of their way to be understanding and helpful. A lesson in manners is definitely needed here!!

Went there on 29-30 dec 2017. The hotel is the best among the others in my opinion, the location is the best in the center. Got many shops around, walking distance to the hot pools (i think will be better to go in winter) all the staff are nice, helpful. There are several rooms selection: 1. Inside the building, rooms starts with "1" means first floor, starts with "2" means second floor (mostly for twin bed) 2. Starts with "3" another lodge sparsely in the garden(you can ask for connecting room if you book 2 double rooms) 3. Bigger lodge starts with "4" seems for family with two kids. They got a pool in the middle of garden, and tennis court, also table tennis And dont forget to have dinner here.. the steak was perfect!!!

My daughter and I stayed here for only one night on 29/12/17.The location of the hotel is perfect, easy walk to pools and very close to shops and restaurants. We requested a downstairs room due to recent back problems and this was accommodated. The room was quite small but well appointed, with everything we needed.Beds were very comfy. Our room had a French door onto a courtyard, that had outdoor furniture and overlooked beautiful gardens.Such an idyllic, peaceful setting and lovely for a glass of wine in the evening.Check in was easy and staff pleasant and welcoming. We had the buffet breakfast and it was plentiful and delicious. Some reviews have stated that the hotel is a bit tired and dated, but I found it to be classic and timeless. The service, beautifully kept grounds and generally the whole atmosphere made me wish they weren't fully booked as I would have happily stayed longer. Will be back!

Our room was located in a small separate building in a large park. It was small but very nice. The location was lovely, only a few steps to the centre but still quiet. The staff at the reception was friendly, helpful and flexible. I had forgotten a toilette bag and they managed to send it to another place where we were staying later. The only big downside was the breakfast: We entered the room 10min before breakfast time was over. Instead of being greeted, Chelsea, the lady in charge of serving breakfast told us that we needed to order within the next minute otherwise we would not get anything. As instructed by Chelsea we ordered 2 coffee immediately. 10 minutes later we got 2 cappuccinos that we the worst that I drank in a long time and we’re allowed to order breakfast. Another 10 minutes later we got omelettes that were overcooked and tasted awful. The service that Chelsea was offering reminded me a lot of the bad service that you get in Singapore. My advice, skip breakfast in the hotel and go to one of the places around with good service and tasty coffee and food.

Stayed over Christmas but unfortunately could not get Christmas meal as fully booked when we arrived on 23rd. Our room was medium sized but some rooms looked small. Very large dining room and excellent buffet breakfast. Our room had patio terrace which was nice to sit out in the evening. Good WiFi. Hanmer is in a beautiful setting among the hills.
