    About this property

    Hana Ocean Palms Bungalow

The Hana Ocean Palms Bungalow is located across from one of Hana's most beautiful oceanfront pools - Waioka Pond (Venus Pool). The property is nestled in a coconut palm grove and surrounded by almost an acre of lush tropical flowers, fruit trees and bamboo. Pick avocados, papayas and bananas and gather vegetables and herbs from the garden. This charming bungalow has all the comforts of home including a fully equipped kitchen, a gas grill for barbecuing, high speed internet access, and a phone for local or long distance calls. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the back bedroom has one double, and one twin bed. The bungalow has two screened porches, one with a hammock for an afternoon nap, and the front porch with a queen bed looking out to the ocean. Fall asleep listening to the sea from the screened porch and awaken to the sound of the wind in the palms and birds singing. Original oil paintings by a local artist, warm natural wood and bamboo, luxurious rugs and bedding throughout. The bungalow is about one mile from Koki Beach, famous Hamoa Beach, and three miles from quaint Hana town. It is about a 20 to 25 minute drive to 'Ohe'o Pools ('Seven Pools') in the Kipahulu section of Haleakala National Park. The national park has abundant fresh water pools and waterfalls, hiking trails and a cultural hike to a restored ancient taro farm. Maui County permit # STHA 2019/0003 GET / TAT # W01043694-01

      Perfect getaway for 3 generations!

What a beautiful, spacious, and welcoming bungalow Albert has graciously blessed those visiting Hana with! Three generations were under one roof and our time could not have been more perfect. From the outdoor shower, indoor hammock, bed on the lanai, well stocked kitchen, spacious yard, beach accessories, outdoor grill, and room for the 6 of us (more family could have joined us!) we could not have found a more personable place. This is our fourth time ending out vacation in Hana and Albert's place, by far, is our favorite! We stayed here for 3 nights and wish our time could have been longer. Location is perfect... we walked to a fresh fruit stand and the Venus pools. Driving was not far to Hana town, beaches, art galleries, sacred pools, etc. We enjoyed the rain each night and the cozy home with all of it's nooks and crannies to sit and read and play games.

        Loved Hana!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the bungalow in Hana. Upon our arrival, we met the property manager who gave us a quick tour. The house is very enjoyable and well-stocked. Gathering fresh mangos was a family favorite. We did a beach tour of all the different colors of sand beaches, went to the Venus pool and drove to Seven Sacred Springs. We also discovered Hawaiian ice cream at Hasegawa General store that kept us cooler in the no a/c house. We also recommend the Huli Huli chicken at Koki Beach. We swam at Hamoa Beach a few times. The shore break is hard to be careful getting in and out but there is a sweet spot to enjoy the waves. Swim to the left of the beach (looking at the ocean) for smaller waves.

          Great tropical getaway!!

Stayed for 10 days and it was great! Loved the geckos everywhere! The screened porch/living area made a great area to hang out and relax.

            Two magical days in Hana

We stayed at the Hana Oceanside bungalow for the last two nights of our vacation to Maui. Hana is a magical place and the Oceanside bungalow is located across the street from the beautiful Venus pool. My three kids loved swimming here and jumping off the rocks into the ocean. The bungalow is very comfortable with screened porches and an option for outside showers which are a must! We also loved eating the mangos from the trees in the yard. It was a true relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

              Relax

Off of the beaten path of Maui located just outside of Hana allowed us to relax and enjoy access to the Pipiwai trail and the Venus Pool!
