SACO Aparthotel Farnborough4.0 out of 5.0

Aside from a very late check-in time of 4pm l can recommend the SACO Aparthotel in Farnborough to travellers. I chose to spend my last 2 nights here after travelling around the UK visiting family and friends. It had all the creature comforts of home, including complimentary water, ice, milk and cereal. Also, l had less than an hour to drive to Heathrow Airport- even in heavy traffic. Everything is on your doorstep, including shops and eateries. One negative comment - the bed was very creaky (& l was alone!!!)
Stayed here for one night the room was spacious and very clean ! Cooking facilities were more than efficient ! Good location , only thing is can be loud at night with the car park from mac Donald's underneath and the room was quite hot. Overall good value for the money! Will return.
Although we only stayed one night here, we were very impressed with the size, location and cleanliness of our serviced apartment. The breakfast was very basic, but we knew that before we arrived and we could have paid a supplement for a better breakfast. However with a Sainsbury's just a few minutes walk away we enhanced the 2 small boxes of cereal which made up the major element of the supplied breakfast. The location is very good and there is limited free parking available, the young lady on reception was very helpful and we had a most enjoyable stay, we would definitely consider staying here again.
Needed somewhere to stay for a weekend to visit Family & friends glad I chose this one EVERYTHING I want was there .only down side was having a Studio on Farnborough Rd side & Macdonalds Delivery arriving Sunday morning spoilt my sleep in
Never stayed in serviced apartments before but what a lovely surprise. Your own front door into a hallway with doors into bedroom or living room. Bedroom was well fitted out and even had a safe and ironing board in the wardrobe. As for the living area...what space. I've never sat in front of such a huge tv. There was even a welcome pack of breakfast stuff.. Bathroom had fluffy towels on a heated towel rail, toiletries and loads of hot water. The car was parked just outside. Guess where I'll be staying on my next visit!
the rooms were incredible and we were provided with milk and small boxes of cereal for our stay, plus teas and coffees, showergel, toilet roll, washing up liquid, a sponge, and enough towels for our 2nights stay. the bed was comfortable and pillows nice and fluffy, even the sofa and armchair was comfy! the tv was smart which meant we could stream from our phones which is an incredible bonus, the iron was a good quality one as was the ironing board. the water pressure on the shower was great, and all our rooms had baths too. all rooms came with fridge, freezer, oven, kettle, microwave, toaster, electric hobs, washing maching and dishwasher, plus all dishes even including a whisk and lasagne tray! the heating was great, and there was enough plug outlets for chargers etc. the check in and check out procedure was really nice and simple and the car park was close to the main entrance. there is a supermarket around the corner aswell as a beefeater mcdonalds and kfc (but theyre not 24hours) it is the first time ever that my grandad has stayed at an apartment or hotel and being from an elder generation (hes 85) I was expecting a lot of complaints- to my surprise he had nothing to say but good things. when i checked on him in the mornings he was sitting watching tv with cereal and tea- a very happy man. its also the first time my mothers stayed at an apartment and she was thoroughly impressed at everything. My sister has recently been travelling with her husband, (new york, barcelona, hawaii) and my brother in law said these apartments were the best hes experienced. My whole family were so happy with everything and coming from a family of moaners this made me so elated that i booked Farnborough serviced apartments instead of the well known hotel chain they originally wanted to book. all round an amazing experience and incredible stay. honestly- i could live there! only real issues were that we arrived very late at night and couldnt find the entrance to begin with- clearer signage of where to turn to get to the carpark would be beneficial. also from the photos online i was under the impression there would be long sofas in all of the studio rooms to sleep on- unfortunately this wasnt the case- it was armchairs- but staff at the apartments helped to resolve this issue fairly quickly and well - which was amazing since we had a long day and were absolutely shattered. it would be great if there was a 24 hour off-license local, but having kfc and McDonald's close by made up for that!
First of all let me say we don't usually use apartment accommodation for short stays we nearly always use hotels but after a few visits with friends elswhere we thought let's give it a go. Checking in was simple. The rooms were extremely spacious. Huge curved TV. Bathroom with shower. Good sized bed. Nice heating and easy to control. Comfy armchair to watch TV. Note this is the only reason it got 4 stars and not 5. It's a double room with one armchair. There's room for two. That aside the place was superb. Even the fridge had a carton of milk in there. Vegan so didn't use it. Lol . Well done. 49.00 per night via one of the hotel sites. Great value. See you next time.
Booked 2 nights here for my partner and I during the lead up to Christmas and I have to say I was extremely pleased with our stay. We had a studio apartment which was fully equipped with everything you should need and it was very spacious. The apartment was very clean, tidy, safe and very modern which was great considering the price. I have had much worse hotel rooms for more than that before! Found a parking space easily outside and the location is ideal for a short walk into town and plenty of shops nearby. Would definitely stay again.
Well don't judge a book by its cover !!! The girl on reception Natalie Was amazing , friendly approachable and full of knowledge as a single girl travelling she made me feel easy she even offered me the correct person to contact with Regards to other locations for business purposes. I would recommend this location excellent service excellent apartments please use Natalie is amazing made my stay that bit better she is like a mum to all guests with lots of local helpfull information Natalie made my stay so pleasurable x
We have used the serviced apartments for family to stay in whilst visiting. The apartments have intercom entry With concierge on hand. The apartments themselves are roomy, very clean and continued cleaning service provided during stay. Well equipped and comfortable beds. Ideal, on the occasions that we have used these apartments its not been noisy, there is some general passing traffic noise when the windows are open, but it does quieten down during the evening/ night times.
