Hotel is generally OK, good, but for better service is needed beter breakfast choice, good clean surround yard and speakinf service. Room is ok, wifi works, safe is on room, bathroom is clean. Better choice on breakfast will be nice. For that price is good value for money.
Good hotel with reasonable interiors and nice rooms. We tried the main hotel as well villa. Villa is outside the main hotel building and one had to go to main hotel for reception and breakfast (elaborate and not worth missing).. Villa makes more sense with larger group. Sea view rooms only have sea view from a distance as there is construction going on between hotel and the sea shore. Hotel location also makes the market accessible in evening. Overall our experience at the hotel was good.
We stayed in this hotel for one night on 30th December. The hotel itself is good, we were in a villa outside the main hotel. The rooms were big clean and spacious. After a tiring day we decided to use the spa, it didn't open until 5pm. There was a male receptionist at the Spa who was very rude and was only interested in taking the money. The Sauna and Jacuzzi were closed.Even though they had a Spa menu, the only thing available was a massage. we took a chance, we were each put in separate rooms, which in fairness looked clean and authentic. There was a gap in the wall so you could hear what was going on in the other rooms. The masseuse arrived, short skirt high heels 🙉The massage consisted of pinching motions.Definitely not trained in massage therapy. She chatted to the masseuse next door as she was supposedly massaging me. When it was all over she asked for a tip. I can honestly say it was the worst massage of my life. The breakfast was a buffet, great selection of hot and cold food.
I had a business trip to Quang Ninh province and stayed at the Saigon - Ha Long hotel. This is a 4-star hotel in Saigontourist's hotel chain. Its appearance is quite old because it works well for 20 years; However, the rooms have been renovated beautifully, in accordance with the current 4 star standard.
We did one overnight while visiting Halong Bay - very nicely appointed hotel and rooms were roomy and clean. Breakfast was included and had a great variety of well prepared food. Hotel is quiet on the top of a hill but anyone with any level of fitness should not have a problem getting to street level. Enjoyed our stay.
Very comfortable room! Staffs were friendly! Breakfast with all kinds of variety ! Nice restaurant to eat in. Close to Halong Bay! This hotel is recommend to stay for sure! And Halong Bay is a must to go!!!
Ok, so I didn't see it, but was told by the people I was travelling with that they saw a rat in the main dining room at the top of the hotel. So need I say more about that?!! The view from the hotel is lovely, and the rooms we had were fine, but prepare for hills and stairs galore. So good work out!
Fairly average food and pretty unimpressive cocktails in the top floor restaurant of a quite dated hotel (had to send the wife's G&T back twice). The rather lacking atmosphere while dining not helped by the tuneless screeching of a live musical 'performance'. All in all, an almost comically poor dining experience.
This is a very nice hotel. There are two type of room ie sea view and hillview. Presently we still can see the sea from hotel. The sea side just in front of had bern reclaimed and in 3 years time the sea facing room may not have any sea view a large project will be built there. As for now the hotel is very nice, clean, staff very friendly. There is also a casino just a stone throw away.
We were put up in this hotel by our travel agent for 1 night since our overnight cruise in Halong Bay got cancelled owing to bad weather. The hotel seemed a new huge property bang in front of the bay. our room was huge well appointed and the balcony opened up to great views of the bay. Dinner was pretty ok and the spread satisfactory. Breakfast was also good with some delicious Pho on the spread. The city center amusement park was nearby and so are many pubs and restaurants. Overall a nice place to park yourself if required.
