The staff were incredibly helpful and make you feel special! It was like being at a 5-star resort. We also took advantage of the on site spa and it was so relaxing and the therapists are in my opinion better well trained than in the US. Thank you, Paradise for an amazing holiday!
Nice, clean, and new area. That said, you are far away from the action... for now. In a few years, I see this place being a very popular attraction with many forms of entertainment. However, as of this review, the immediate surrounding area is slower paced than the rest of Vietnam. If you want great places to eat, a $7-$10 10 min taxi to the ha long city center is required. Breakfast is provided and was one of the better breakfast buffets I’ve had, even compared to USA standards. The spa was really nice, clean, and professional. The reception takes care of booking massages, taxi, and recommendations. They are friendly and able to exchange American dollars for some of the best rates I’ve received. On an ending note, as it is still in my definition of a soft opening, you will have to keep an open mind to their shortcomings. Overall great value and definitely worth it.
