I needed a place to clean up and dry off after a wet and muddy day of biking. This place was perfect with its bike friendly facility and staff. The price was right too. Great recommendation for dinner. Potomac River Grill hit the spot.

We had two rooms for three nights and everything was perfect. It was during the East Coast Motorcycle Rally in August. There were lots of Bikers and families there. The breakfasts were great and the motel is very convenient to the interstates and to the bridge into West Virginia for more great rides.

We have stayed at this hotel at least 6 times in the last 3 years. We like the location and that the hotel permits pets. The rooms are spacious and have been renovated recently. Breakfast room is a good size and food offered is typical of such free breakfasts. However, in our last two visits, the late night check in was a problem. One time recently, the desk clerk first gave us keys to a room that was already occupied! Thank goodness the sleeping occupants had flipped the security latch on so we didn't actually enter the room and turn on the light. The second time, the clerk (a different person) was flummoxed by their computer system. The clerk could not figure out if we had paid already (we had), kept asking for our name, wanted to hold our credit card until they figured out the computer system (not happening), and gave us key cards that did not work. Check in easily took 20-30 minutes. Very frustrating.

Been to this hotel a few times and it's always an excellent place. Close to the c & o canal and lots of shops to see. Marana checked us in and was very helpful!! Can't wait to get back again!!

For the price it's a good value. The noise coming from outside gets a little loud sometimes, but overall I would stay here again.

Needed a cheap place to stay and as far as Super 8's go this place was no better or worse than any other I've stayed at. Room, as usual, was cleaner than one would accept while walking through lobby or hallway to the room. Pro's: good water pressure and was hot, breakfast was available before stated time and staff was nice. Con: as typical, with most lodging, wi-fi was was slow and inconsistent. It's a hotel/motel off of an interstate and a place to shower, get some rest and move on the next morning, which I did free of any hassle.

We have stayed here before and like it to break up our drive to see family. The price is reasonable and the waffles for breakfast are good. A bit of yogurt would be nice but still a bargain. It was clean. Our only problem was the room was freezing when we arrived but it quickly warmed up. No problem, not fancy motel.

Good for a quick overnight on our way south. Clean & safe. Great antique mall nearby.

This was a good basic hotel and a good value for the money. Wish the double bed had been a queen and there would have been yogurt and decaf coffee but this is a value place. The breakfast buffet of waffles, bananas, coffee, etc. was good. The desk clerk was fine and we slept well. If you are on your way to DC or want a place to stay while doing the Western Maryland bike trail we would recommend it.

the hotel was very nice neat and clean. was convient to eating palaces had a grocery store near by, the hotel staff were very nice and very pleasant . I would stay here again and tell my friends the breakfast of waffles were excellent I just wished you had cream cheese to put on the toast

Perfect location for Bicycling on the Western Maryland Rail Trail. Room was clean and the beds comfortable. Only problem was the toilet commode stopped up and we could not flush. Worked around that issue by using restroom at close by gas station. Had the issue not been present I would have rated this motel a "4".

Pleasantly suprised to find a microwave and small fridge in our room. Staff couldn't be nicer. And just a couple of blocks from downtown.

The location was right for me from Berkeley Springs on a busy Fall weekend. The room was clean with microwave and refrigerator, coffee maker, the staff were friendly and helpful, its not the Ritz, but the price was right

The hotel was old, I knew that. I just expected a lot more for the price I paid. My room smelled odd upon entering, there were stains on my sheets, and the place just needed a lot of touch-ups or remodeling. I was not impressed with the place and not happy that I paid $63 a night to stay in such a place. However, the staff were polite and it was very doable. Remodeling would work wonders for that place.

We were disappointed in the room as it was not clean enough. There was dust around the edges of the room. Paper wrap left under the sink in the bathroom and the airconditioner was dirty. There also were lights out in the room, out of all the lights there were 3 out. Wall socket without a cover. The good points were that the hotel was in a excellent location, the staff was friendly, the continental breakfast was good.

We just needed a cheap place to spend the night, and this motel was fine. Very clean, nice staff, large rooms, and if the bathroom fixtures and carpet in the room were old, new carpet in the hallway and new bedspreads showed the owners are working at upkeep. If we needed a cheap place to stay in Hancock again, we'd go back.

Our Super 8 experience was what it was supposed to be. The rooms were clean, small-ish and simple. What pleasantly surprised us was that the breakfast was quite good with different types of toasts and fruit available.

i was charged one amount on my creadit card and the bill was less from the hotel
