Couldn’t find the front of the hotel then when I checked in the hallway reeks of smoke when I have a nonsmoking room and comforter has cigarette burns
It was easy to find and to get in and out to the freeway. There was a strong odor of cigarette smoke in the building - especially in the hallways. It made my husband have difficulties with breathing.
Unfortunately both rooms were smelly and dusty. You don’t feel comfortable putting your hands on any area in the room. The lights did not function properly. Broken sink in the bathroom. Heating system is so loud that I couldn’t get a straight hour of sleep. Breakfast was literally a joke. It is just not worth it at all. No more staying there at any price. I do not recommend it at all.

THIS PLACE IS A DUMP!!! IT WREAKS OF SMOKE AND SMELLS PUTRID. THE MANAGER TONY IS AN IDIOT AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL. THAT’S BEING POLITE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. YOU WILL REGRET IT.
Don't stay here. First the check in process was very slow (about 20 min.) The clerk spoke little English and did not seem to know how to use the computer. The room was very dark only one small lamp and no overhead light. The bed was so old and uncomfortable with a cheap mattress that needs to be replaced. Worst was the theft of some of my stuff while I was out for the day. Spoke with the owner over the phone he did not care. I left early.
lobby was dirty. I booked a room, and that room smelled bad and bathroom wasnt cleaned. Lady's hairs on the bathroom sink. Also, they charge a small fee whenever guests use their coffee/tea bag in their rooms - so watch out for that.
OK facilities. However, every piece of fabric (towels, sheets, blankets) in the room had some kind of stain - yellow, brown, or white crust. Otherwise it was comfortable. Loud noise (mostly TV, some talking) through the whole night.
Friendly staff, AC worked. We had an issue with our first room but the staff was great snd moved us to a good room.
We will NEVER go back to this hotel. We found a dead roach in the bathroom and I have pictures. We left and went to a different hotel.
All I have to say is it was a horrible experience!!!!!
The room was just enough to suit my needs for a single overnight trip through the area. Convenient to the interstate by only a few miles. No carpet made it a new hotel experience for me but probably equates to a cleaner floor. Walls were a little thin meaning I could hear people talking in other rooms but can avoid this by running the air cooling/heating fan on a low speed. Bathroom was clean with decent shower and water pressure. Free breakfast offered a nice enough send off but lacked variety. Good deal for the money. Would stay again using the air system tip to block excess noise.
The free breakfast was below average.... no fresh fruit.... there was a loaf of bread in the Danish case... coffee was old and tasted burnt... 2 bowls of cereal left on the counter by a previous unhappy guest... no one there to clean up... The walls are so thin you could hear the guy above us ...sounded like a elephant walking back and forth all night.... there was a concrete wheel barrow in the hallway going to lobby... thrash piled up high outside back door in a pen... also did not care for the hardwood floors... sorry I will not stay at this Super 8 again..
Had a wonderful time there. Clean rooms, free breakfast, quick drive to many places, affordable prices. Overall, a pleasant experience. Accommodates smokers and none smokers and service is great
In town for 1 night and was looking for a room that was well priced and had decent reviews. I am a bit of a hotel snob and almost never stay at a Super 8, but this location did meet my expectations. The front desk man had no personality, the room was nice size with a fridge, small flat screen, in wall a/c unit, bathroom was clean and looked much nicer than I expected, pillows were not comfortable, bed was average, carpet was clean and breakfast was nice with waffles you can make yourself. It was off the beaten path, but very reasonably priced. Hagerstown does not have a great offer for a room from $75-$100 price
Went to Hagerstown bike week and the hotel was right across from one of the main event areas. Nice to be able to be so close to so much
outside looks worse than inside, long way from hwy when travelling, poor continental breakfast.
