Excellent Building which attracts your immediate attention due colourful exterior painting. Small lobby with only a few desk and limited seating area. Rooms are adequately sized with writing desk , beautiful bed . Mini bar items are included in price and is adequately stocked. Due to construction work is going in front of the hotel building there is traffic pile up on the narrow road and also not very clean. However using the harbour side path to walk around is excellent Breakfast is served on the top floor Sky Lounge with very nice view around this part of the city and harbour. Menu is satisfactory but appears not changed - it was same when stayed for 2 days. WiFi is free for guest with adequate speed. Overall a nice hotel for business visit
I prefer this hotel in the harbour quarter as it is friendly and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it. If you have time for breakfast, enjoy the beautiful view of Düsseldorf. Bar and restaurant are highly recommended.
We went for an aftework to the SkyLaunge and we spend a very nice time. It is an intimate place with a very nice decoration and background music. We had some drinks, they where ok, not too great. But there is a very nice view, nice sofas, music. Cool place to spend some times with friends. In this places, my feeling is that you pay more for the enviroment that they create and you experience more than for what you are having. I recomend to visit and have a beer!!
I am very frequent business traveler and I visited this place more than ten times and spend over 30 nights here in the last year. Hotel enjoys nice location, has good looking interior design and the view from the sky bar is amazing. My 2 last stays however were very disappointing and I must say the level of service at this hotel is going down. Minibar at the hotel - although included in price - is not refilled before you check-in. I was lucky I got some new drinks during my second stay - on the next day. Capacity of underground garage has been decreased and new outside parking place was introduced. The walk is about 5-8 mins to the place. That is not bad. However the path toward the parking place in business shoes? Forget it. It is very muddy. Also when it starts to rain, you will find your car in the middle of 4cm deep puddle across the whole place - there is no sewage at all. I was also unhappy with pillows. Not sure what has gone wrong with them, but now they are very very flat. So no good sleep any more. It is not possible to change your check-out date once you check-in. This is standard in other 4* hotels. Here you pay 90% of the price. Internet is for free only for first 100MB and the connection drops every few mins. But it was even worse few months back. Now there was some improvement. What really irritated me - broken flap on juice pitcher. So not great start for the day to always trying to get my morning drink. Why the 4* hotel has broken tableware in use for more than few weeks? This hotel has amazing view out of the windows and I truly wish the level of service will improve again. Not coming back right now though.
I went to Düsseldorf with work. Room was clean and comfortable, no noise. Could have a good rest and a night sleep. Breakfast was nice. Enjoyed the sky bar for a late drink, without the need to go ouf the hotel Can recommend this hotel
The room was incredibly stylish and practical. There is WIFI in the room, however its only for a set amount of time so we had to keep logging back into the WIFI and when your time expired you'd have to pay extra. The hotel actually knocked the additional charges from the final bill so that was really nice. On staying with the hotel, we also got drink vouchers for the bar above the hotel which had stunning views and a great place to wind down before heading back to the room.
We had a short stay here in preparation for an extended stay in Düsseldorf, arranged by my husband's company. It has been a very busy weekend in Düsseldorf due to the Tour de France beginning here. There was a team staying at the hotel, and others at nearby hotels, which was quite exciting. The hotel is modern and well equipped. The bathroom is a very unusual configuration with little privacy, so be sure you are quite intimate with your roommate or it could be uncomfortable! The location is a bit of a walk into the city but not difficult and very nice and easy along the river. There are restaurants and cafes nearby. The Sky bar is lovely and has excellent views. Breakfast was included and was very good. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant one evening. We were very well attended by all of the staff and have no complaints about service at all. I would say the wifi and thin, small towels are my only gripes. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay and we enjoyed our Tour de France weekend.
Good location next to the harbour with lovely views. Twenty mins from airport and a twenty minute walk (along the river) to the main bars and restaurants. Staff ok but not over the top friendly. Nice bar on 16th floor. Room was modern, clean and comfortable with a nice shower, safe but really slow wifi!? Parking was a bit awkward but that was maybe due to Tour de France trucks outside? Lots of construction work going on around the area so cranes was the only view from my room! Continental breakfast was fine and price was ok for city centre location. Nothing special but a decent hotel.
Hotel is modern and minimalist. Comfortable bed, nice but smaller rooms. Great views. Restaurant has great breakfast. Otherwise the hotel is quite basic due to its minimalist design. Stayed during some kind of festival, very few rooms available in Düsseldorf and was charged a small fortune nightly. For the price I paid, it was a big disappointment. However, if I had paid standard rates which appear to be under 100 euro nightly, the hotel would have been pretty good value.
Very good hotel placed in a very good place close to an area with restaurants and bars. The bar in the top floor has amazing views and is a very good place for a drink with friends The rooms are big and modern. Ideal for a business trip
