Stayed 3 nights over Xmas. Good value reasonable standard hotel with limited services for a 4 star rating such as no doorman & take your own bags to your room. Well priced breakfast with good selection although some of the meats looked a bit dry.

Happy we booked a suite for our winter weekend in Haarlem. Location perfect. Bed not the greatest quality and thanks to suggestions of other travelors we left the car at home and came by train, only 10 min walk from station. Breakfast suggestion: grand cafe Brinkmann at the market square.

Great location, value and decor. Being very close to all major happenings in the old town area it was easy to leave my colleague there to find something to do. The architecture and cleanliness of the are is top level. The hotel is clean and has an amazing staircase leading to a blue stained glass dome.

Hotel location in the heart of Haarlem.it is good, Restaurants are close to there. Clean and standard a room. Friendly personal , fast check in and out. Average breakfast. carpark a bit problem. room view to inside.

We stayed in Amrath Grand HOTEL Frans Hals hotel from the 23 Des 2017 to the 3 Jan 2018 and was very impressed with the hotel accommodation even though we booked a double bed but they only had 2 x single beds. The room service was great and staff was always friendly. The reception was also very friendly and always greeted when they saw us. Overall great service and comfortable beds at an affordable price.

I booked 2 rooms for 4 of us from 27th to 30th December 2017. We were given rooms no. 120 and 121. My room (121) is ver nice, cosy and extremely comfortable. The hotel itself is classy and has very strategic location. Many restaurants are within 5 - 7 minutes walking distance. We were initially very happy with our rooms and the location. However, things started to change on our last night 29th December at about 5pm. Upon returning to our respective rooms on 29th December after a day out exploring Haarlem, my friends discovered that their room door (120) was ajar. A towel was placed near the door. Upon complaining to the front desk, my friend received a reply 'I don't know' twice. Though nothing was stolen, this is not something that you wished to hear from an allegedly reputable hotel. The particular staff displayed a non-committed and lackadaisical attitude by acting indifferent. No concern or care was shown. No assurance was given that this matter will be investigated or promises that this incident will not occur in the future. I had on 28th December called the front desk asking for the rate of a taxi for 4 passengers with 4 large luggage to travel from the hotel to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. I was advised by the front desk (a guy) that we need to take a mini bus due to our luggage and the rate for a mini bus is €40. Thinking that the hotel provides guests with better rate (online rate is about €43 for a mini bus) I decided to ask the hotel to arrange the taxi when we check out on 30th December. The very next morning (29th December) I approached the front desk once again and asked a lady staff the rate for the mini bus. Again she confirmed that it is indeed €40 for 4 person on a mini bus. Thus I requested that she makes the necessary arrangement for me and my friends for 11 am on 30th December when we check out. The driver was very prompt, friendly and helpful. The mini bus is very comfortable and nice. However, upon reaching the airport, we were told the charges is not €40 but €65!!! Either the driver was trying to pull a fast one on us or the hotel staff was ignorant and gave us wrong information. Nevertheless, this kind of action or inaction is really bad and marred our otherwise pleasant stay in Amrath. For those who is looking to stay in this hotel, please be careful. I have travelled extensively and this is my very first unpleasant encounters.

The staff was excellent and very helpful. Our room was large and quite comfortable. The breakfasts were very good. When booking again I would choose a room away from the street as there was a good deal of street noise, especially during the weekend.

We booked this hotel as a last minute choice because Amsterdam was far too expensive. This hotel was awesome. It is right in the center of town and about 10 minutes away from the train station. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. There was a bit of noise coming from the property in the back alley though. It sounded like a karaoke contest.

The hotel is right in the centre and close to key sights, it's a 10-15 minute walk from thr station depending on speed of walking. Reception staff are super friendly and helpful and no question seemed a trouble at all. The hotel itself is fair; standard room was a decent size and clean. Generally quiet although some noise from bottles in the back street at night but not too much. I didn't eat at the hotel as there's so many places to eat nearby. Good wifi throughout the stay. For any ladies, make sure you take your own shampoo and conditioner as these aren't supplied separately. Would stay here again for sure

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend and had a fabulous time. It’s a few minutes walk from all the bars, shops & restaurants so no car is necessary. There was a market on the Saturday which has a great atmosphere. The hotel staff couldn’t do enough for you & would highly recommend a stay at this lovely hotel.
