The Days Inn in Gunnison is a very nice property with the pride and feel of a family-owned business. We truly enjoyed our stay, and thank you for your help. Thank you too, for keeping your property pet-friendly, as it makes all of the difference for us to be able to bring all of our family along :)

Was in Gunnison for fall fly fishing, and enjoyed 3 nights at the Day's Inn. The room was a bit small for two beds, but everything else was outstanding! Will definitely stay there again.

I was very pleased with the hospitality of Luke the owner. He was kind and personable and very accommodating. The rooms were ok. The hot tubs were a nice touch and very relaxing. The continental breakfast was well above average and the biscuits and gravy were delicious. I was able to bring my dogs and really enjoyed my stay. Thank you

Nice property and accommodating staff, we appreciate the friendliness of all the people we interacted with. Additionally we will continue to support as they are a supporter of the WSCU Athletics program.

We stayed for two nights and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, very personable. We wish him and his family continued success in their venture. The beds were very comfortable, microwave and fridge in the room an added plus. Breakfast was very adequate as well. The housekeeping staff are very sweet as well. We asked for a late check-out as it had snowed the day before and we weren't prepared to drive on snowy or icy roads. If we get back to Gunnison, would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here during our fall aspen viewing trip. We were greeted by Luke who was very helpful during our stay. He also recommended Marco's pizza & pasta for dinner which was awesome! The bed was very comfortable and we never heard any sound from the airport which is directly behind the hotel.

Pros: accepted pets for minimal charge, really good breakfast and was quiet. Cons: tiny room with way oversize furniture in it so you could barely move around. The sofa looked ancient and dirty and was way too big for the room.

Room was very clean and staff great; the breakfast is top notch lots of choices. I love it when there are biscuits and gravy, I am so tired of waffles. There is no pool but the hot tubs are fantastic, just like the ones you would have for your patio.

We had a great visit. Nice room and beds. They provided a good breakfast there was something for everybody!

We overnighted here on our way to and from a recent trip to Utah. The property is comfortable and welcoming (even to our 2 small dogs!) and has a terrific breakfast. The real clincher, though, came when I left something of value in the room after check-out and didn't realize it until I received a call from the owner a couple of hours later. We were well down the road by then, so Luke promised to mail it to me. Three days later it arrived, well-packaged and in perfect condition; and he wouldn't hear of being reimbursed for the cost! Since I was a teenager spending summer vacations in this area I've dreamed of retiring to Gunnison Country, and if Luke is representative of the locals, I know it's the right place for us!
