The rooms were great—especially the suite! The fireplace in the lobby with the big comfy chairs was a great place to lounge and visit or read!
Travelling with a pet, a mother-in-law, and us (husband and wife) can become challenging. That is why this hotel was such a delight. Our dog was welcomed, mother-in-law really liked her room, and we found our king-sized accommodations to be a royal treat. Breakfast was tasty. Highly recommended for dog lovers, and regular travelers, too.
We stayed here on sort of a low-season week in March while skiing at Crested Butte. It is about a 40 minute, but beautiful drive to the ski area. As far as basic hotels go, this one is a really good value. The room was clean, the best were comfortable, the staff was friendly, and breakfast was better than expected. There are two very nice, clean hot tubs on a covered patio that we really enjoyed after a day of skiing. The 2 queen room was a little small, but we didn't spend much time there. A small refrigerator and microwave were located in the room. This is a great hotel to stay in if you fly into the General Aviation part of the Gunnison airport. Just a few steps away! While you're in town, check out the Dive Bar. Really fun restaurant/bar concept with good food and great local beers.
This motel was great for a one night stay for a trip to Monarch resort. I would recommend this for anyone in the area.
Decided to take a spur-of-the-moment trip up to Gunnison for Presidents' Day. I don't typically stay with this particular chain, but the reviews were good, and the price was right, so I booked it. So glad I did! Luke, the owner, was great. Very friendly, and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in the place. It was clean, comfortable, and well kept. Next time I'm out that way, I'll definitely be back!
Spent a great week up on crested butte - unfortunately we were snowed in and spent 8 hours at the airport. United Airlines said they had arranged accommodation and to be honest I was worried. I mean I’d seen US movies about tiny scary dirty hotel rooms that had me really worried!! Arrived at Days Inn and wow what a surprise!! We were grumpy from hours of delay but staff were lovely and the owner even picked us up and delivered us back to airport. Rooms were clean and spacious and had all amenities including good coffee (a must for me). Breakfast was included and was a great mix of oats, eggs, toast, pastries and cereal etc. once again coffee was great!! If you wanted to ski and couldn’t afford huge rates up the mountain (our place during week was 1600 as night) this would be a great place to stay to enjoy the snow. Convenient, affordable, clean, friendly, comfy (see fireplace) and everything you need. I give this place a 10 out of 10!!!!! Thanks Comfort Inn for making our airline delays bearable!!
Luke, the manager owner is fantastic. Service was great, rooms and hotel were clean and quiet. Proximity to the airport is an added convenience. Would recommend to anyone. Free wi fi and breakfast earn them more points with the kids!
This hotel has cosy family own style. Breakfast is excellent and Nice clean room . Friendly and make you feel welcome .
I was very happy with the room and enjoyed and a quiet night. I wish they had better breKfast options. Not everyone wants sugary ceral and breads.
I live 55 miles from the Days Inn, but because of schedules, decided to spend one night at Days Inn. I was able to check in earlier than the time given. Clean room, very quiet, good breakfast. Had a bit of a problem with the key card not being read, but the desk clerk was extremely helpful in solving the problem.
