Generally the room in a eun down condition Reception guy was more intrested in talking with wife/girlfriend. Breakast presentation poor. $100 a night, waste of money
They charge way to much for nothing !
TV operation was weird, no info button. You needed the list provided by the hotel to find channels.
Only Mark Down's are for low water volume in shower and wifi only allowed one device connected at a time. Good room, good breakfast. Quiet and comfortable. Recommend.
The people that work at this hotel are rude and just want your money some 70 year old elderly women checked me in wrong. The room smelled like moth balls the bathroom looked horrible and very old the sheet on the bed were clean I think. They only had the elderly woman working when we arrived so we could not get extra sheet or towels this hotel needs a major up grade meanwhile they try to charge people an arm and a leg to stay there.
The only complaint was the room had 2 towels of small size for 2 grown adults and the shower looked dirty.
Great hotel, good location friendly staff clean pool. What more could you ask for.
Hotel was very clean. Staff was helpful &friendly. Would stay again if in the area.
Good experience. Clean and good value. Would stay again if in this area.
The room was fine, but pretty loud with sounds of people walking and talking just outside the door. We arrived late and tossed our perishable food into the fridge, then crashed. When we got up in the morning, we realized the refrigerator had been turned all the way off. All of our food was spoiled. Since we were road-tripping and dealing with dairy and wheat allergies, this caused a real problem. I had checked to make sure the fridge was plugged in, but in never occurred to me that someone might have turned the temperature gauge inside to OFF. The front desk clerk's response was minimal. Barely an apology. I'll be sure to check the fridge temp next time I'm at a hotel, but if a hotel offers a fridge, it should actually be cold when guests arrive.
Had a nice stay, room was comfortable, outside was well manicured and looked nice. Staff was quick and efficient. However, did see a roach in my room, and bathroom could have been a little cleaner.
When I went to the desk on arrival there was nothing to make you feel welcome. I walked up to the desk and was not greeted, I said I had a reservation. He gave me my key and off I went. The bed felt old and needed replacing, way too spongy feeling. The electrical plug next to the bed, where I had to plug in my CPAP (breathing machine), was very loose and felt like it was coming out of the wall. The next morning I went to get some coffee at the free breakfast and has to pour it out, it tasted that bad. I ended up Beijing coffee at Krispy Cream next door and then we left and went to McDonald's for breakfast. I would be hesitant to return to a Econo Lodge because of this experience.
The hotle staff were very attentative. This is a great location for beach goers.
It was nice I will definitely stay here again in the future
I checked in late at night for a six hour sleep before continuing my trip. The room was damp feeling and very musty/mildew smelling. If it didn't require a long walk back across the hotel lot to the main desk.....which was locked, and you had to wait outside the lobby at a glass window.....I might have gone back to get another room. I was tired so I slept a few hours and left at 5AM. I don't know if it is an artifact of Hurricane Katrina ,and it is a permanent condition, but I will not stay there again.
The room was large and clean when we entered. Each day "like magic" the room was tidied up while we were at breakfast. The location was perfect for our trip and the staff were great. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Gulfport.
