My husband and I stayed at Buri Rasa Village in Koh Samui for 8 nights and we had an amazing time. The hotel itself is beautiful, centrally located and still quiet enough for a good sleep and surrounded by the most gorgeous greenery right outside your door. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The daily turndown service along with the little treat from the chef was a lovely touch. The staff is excellent, everyone was so friendly and helpful. They all checked on us everyday to make sure we had everything we needed and more! Breakfast was great, so many choices catering for people from all over the world. We also had dinner at the restaurant a few times and the food was amazing, fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Service was top-notch, great cocktails too! The beach at the hotel is lovely, clean and very well looked after by the wonderful staff, they even provide you with beach towels. The Buri Rasa Village has it all. It is the perfect place for an unforgettable holiday in Koh Samui.

I stayed at the Buri Rasa for 4 nights during April. The hotel is probably the #1 in Samui when compared to the other 5stars hotels I stayed in the island. The service is beyond perfect, the staff is very friendly and took care of our well being 24x7. My kids loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. It is not In the busy part of chaweng but still few minutes walk from all the fun and restaurants. The GM of the hotel, called Leo, cared so much to personally know most of the guests (including my kids) by first name basis. I would surely come back to this wonderful establishment!

The staff could not have been nicer. Lots of good points like the lovely breakfasts with omelette cooked to order. Seafood meal on beach was great and very good value Happy hour short but good for early drink, cocktails not to uk standard but this is common Room was basic and bed not comfortable Air con very noisy and threw water out every night which then dripped everywhere Paid extra for garden and dip pool but only used once as gloomy and full of flies in garden Outside bed good in theory but local flea ridden cat used it as bed so no good for people, did not see cheaper rooms to compare but don't think worth paying extra for garden You can't see the sea from any rooms which was not clear from website and I only booked this hotel because I thought you could. Is only 2 minute walk to beach Lots of loungers and umbrellas nice pool

We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding on the island. Check-in was lovely, the passionfruit drink and cold towel were wonderful. When we were brought to our room the lady said she had upgraded us to a room with a dip pool, however that's what we had booked and paid for so I thought that was strange. The pool looked dark and gross so we never actually used it which was disappointing, if I had my time back I would have spent less for the standard room. The room was very clean which was nice, there was definitely a break in the screen somewhere in our bathroom though, without keeping the bathroom door closed the room would be full of mosquitoes. Rooms are showing their age (furnishings wise) but are so clean it doesn't matter. Breakfast was good, the mango smoothies were the best part. The pool at the hotel is different than what you see at most hotels, no stairs to enter, just a ladder which I didn't like, and it was FREEZING. Not refreshing, but frigid, couldn't get in even when it was 35 degrees outside. The beach is beautiful but next time I would probably stay further down on Chaweng where it's more calm. Overall the staff were amazing, the food and drinks great, spa was amazing and the location wonderful. I'd definitely stay again and would recommend it, but skip the extra money for the private pool. We spent the following 3 nights at a different hotel on the island, spent less money and got a far nicer room at a more luxurious resort, so I think it's a litter over priced.

My husband and I stayed here in March 2017. What a great property! Chaweng Beach is a super busy and touristy strip on the island. However, when you walk into the resort, you don't hear the noise of the streets. We were greeted with a delicious welcome beverage and showed our room. The location is convenient to restaurants and bars on the main strip, but the private beach entrance and pool make it all worth it. Our room was clean and had extra amenities like bug spray, a beach bag, flashlights. Every night, with turn down service the chef would make a little treat to be delivered. What a nice touch! The included breakfast was one of the most extensive spreads I've ever seen- western tastes (omlete, pancakes, homefries), fresh juice (depending on the day), yogurts, lots of bread choices, coffee/tea choices, and even dim sum. All the staff we interacted with were polite, respectful and always had a smile on their faces. When it was time to check out, I didn't want to leave!

The resort and staff were very accommodating and friendly. We were upgraded on one of our rooms upon check in to a family suite as we were a group of 13. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. A plate of fresh fruit would be left daily to sample as complimentary and cocktail hour was provided one evening that was great. The appetizers provided were excellent and a virgin drink was also provided to us as we did not drink alcohol. The kids has a great time in the pool. However the pool was made of some concrete material that was not smooth so some of the kids were getting scratches and scabs that were painful if accidentally hit the pool surfaces. The resort was along the beach which was great. We were able to enjoy the beach without having to go far. The sand and beach were clean. The sunrise and sunset were also great. Breakfast was also very good. Staff had accommodated us 15 min early as we had to check out 630 am to go to the airport. Breakfast otherwise starts at 630am. They had even suggested they would pack us a small breakfast sandwich to take with us if unable to eat. Loved the resort, the rooms and of course the staff.

This place has it all - great beach, pool, excellent and attentive service by all staff members, a spa, delicious and giant spread of a breakfast. We stayed in the deluxe suite since there were 3 of us. It was the perfect size and had the necessary amenities. The staff cleaned it up ever day and turned down our beds at night, plus left us sweet notes and treats. Made us all feel very welcome and special. The beach outside is perfect to lounge all day. Or the staff will help you plan activities, book tours, find you a tax, a dinner reservation, whatever you need. One particular staff member, Oui, consistently went out of her way to make our stay fun, interesting and delicious. I would come back here every time on the island.

The good: great service by friendly staff who clean the rooms twice a day. Located in the best part of Chaweng beach. Spacious rooms. The bad: a lot of noise from the road so bear in mind if you're a light sleeper. The bed is very small - only a double bed.

We were lucky enough to get a booking at Buri Rasa for part of our holiday after being referred by friends and were not disappointed. The resort is small and intimate with attention to the smallest detail. The breakfast is among the best in a small hotel we have ever had and the location and beach are perfect. The seafood basket on the beach is a good value and there is nothing like having dinner with the sand between your toes. We are only sad we couldn't extend our stay due to the hotel being full. However they referred us to another hotel in their group which was very different but also good.

Great hotel, great food, great staff, great rooms, great position all adding up to a great stay at this boutique hotel in the right part of Chaweng beach. Had a small accident during stay and management and staff could have not been more helpful. Just what you want when you are away from home. This hotel has a lot of returning guests which speaks for itself. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
