Much better than any other hotel I've stayed at, highly recommend it!

excellent service, very helpful and gracious staff.

We have stayed at the Oro Verde before and like it a lot. Staff is well trained and attentive. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Restaurants very good. Pool temperature on the cool side. Would definitely recommend a stay here

We (3 rooms) attended a wedding and stayed at this hotel 3 separate times, in 10 days, before the wedding, after the wedding (before flying to other parts of Equator), and again the last night before flying back to the US. NICE staff, they were very helpful. Rooms were spotlessly clean, and modern, fast WIFI, nice free drink coupon. The food in the restaurant was very good. After coming back from our explorer trip, we all agreed, they have the BEST shower/bathroom.

The hotel exceeded our expectations, it is very clean and comfortable with a powerful A/C and shower. The gym and sauna were very nice also. Room service is 24 hours.

The hotel was very upscale, tasteful and exceeded out expectations. The staff was pleasant, we were offered a complimentary cocktail in the bar. They provide complimentary airport shuttle service and have several dining options within the hotel. We were not there long so we ate at the less formal restaurant (not the café)and it was very good. The pool area is great.

Nice staff and very friendly. Was a little far from where I wanted to be but other then that was a nice room

This was a wonderful hotel. Staff was very helpful. Rooms very clean and bed was comfortable. The lobby and other facilities were great.

Great for business. The neighborhood is not the best if you want to walk around the hotel

Hotel has that chique colonial style look. People are the best resource they have, all very kind and helpful. However, after a 15 hr flight the boing boing boing construction work going on in different parts of the hotel doesn't allow any rest or tranquil work environment. They changed my room and it was worse in the next room. I got a free lunch (value USD 29), very nice, but the noise went on and on and on until 6pm. Starting next morning at 7.45 am again. Surrounding doesn't invite to walk around. Other ***** hotels are located in better areas, more inviting to walk around. Next time: I will not see any green gold again in Guayaquil.

A large well run hotel in the center of town. Rooms, food and service are all of international standard for a business hotel. The staff was very helpful arranging free airport pickups and with some last minute laundry service. There is an excellent bakery off the lobby for lighter breakfasts and lunches.

Suite was big, very comfortable, clean and cozy. We love staying there

we werent in the hotel that long, but it was an amazing hotel, everything was so clean and nice, staff was great!

Superior staff, complimentary welcome drinks and the best breakfast buffet included! This is the best place to stay! Perfect start to my Galapago's trip.

Hotel Oro Verde. This is a great place to stay! Atmosphere was great ! It is clean, has great location and Great Staff. I would recommend this hotel to a friend. Thanks,

great customer service great restaurants perfect location

The staff are excellent. The location and the hotel are excellent. I will go back to the same place next time.

After a long fight, trying to relax we found rude customer service on two occasions (Ana Belen and Maria Elena Bustamante -manager front desk). Plus after we paid for a suite with breakfast, they did not honor that and we had to beg for breakfast, even the monitor in the Airport advertised such a deal. They will try to rip you off and you're going to have a horrendous time. Do not stay in the Hotel.

Terrible experience with rude staff and overpriced rooms

We probably would have been happy with anything that wasn't actively pitching and rolling at that point, but Oro Verde was a wonderful spot to stay after our Galapagos cruise. Airport shuttles are perfectly punctual (every half hour starting at 4AM) and staff were quite helpful. Very comfortable, well-appointed rooms and all the amenities you'd expect. Not the closest to the airport, but the price difference between this outstanding hotel and similar ones nearer to the airport made it a clear choice.
