Situated at the center of the city. You can get Indian food on the first floor of the hotel itself at tandoor which is like very awesum. Few rooms are new with modern interiors but many rooms are still old and needs renovation. Staff is good. Taxi availability is nice and many places to walk around in the evening. Has shuttle services to phazhou during most of the fairs.
Pros - 1. Large rooms, clean working toilets and bathrooms 2. Luxury in China, similar to Hilton, etc 3. Walking distance to subway 4. Halal food everywhere!!! 5. Close to Canton Fair Cons - 1. Nothing much, just beware how you book as there is a FAKE asia international website!!!
Unbeatable location. Countless stores and bars and restaurants. Xiaobei and Taojin subway stations are just minutes away. Baiyun airport bus stop is just across street. The only problem is that the room is a little bit too old but it's fine.
The hotel is fancy but keep in the past. Should do something to refresh. Restaurants.... not so good I’m a Indian cuisine fan, and them Indian restaurant should be the best in canton..... at least that’s the claim. But TANDOOR is expensive, not so nice, dark and food is correct but absolutely not the best in the city. Finally, is a expensive hotel and call to be much more than what it really is.... but it’s for sleep or no?? So it’s accomplish
A perfect hotel with good clean rooms and great friendly Staff. Free shuttle bus available to and back for canton fair . Only thing concer8is it's not exclusively for hotel guests as it gets filled up very quickly and you might have to wait for the next bus. Lots of places to eat nearby with assorted choices.
A superb quality hotel in an ideal location. Staff very helpful. Rooms are a good size and extremely clean. Breakfast choice is extremely expansive... Nice place to conduct business and also relax... Great value for money...
We booked 3 executive room with twin beds but the reception told us all twin bed executive room are sold out with attitude as if this was not their business and we can downgrade our room to deluxe with 2 beds .
This is an excellent 5-star hotel. Good clear and beautiful hotel with very nice and supportive staffs. Few restaurants and shops for shopping are also there inside the hotel. This hotel is life saver of VEGETARIAN person as there's a Indian restaurant (TANDOOR) inside hotel. Rooms of hotel are very good, neat and clean. Lobby is also very clean and well maintained. The view from hotel room is also excellent. Located at the center of the city and easy accessible to all the services. There's a revolving restaurant on the 45th floor of the hotel where you can enjoy daily the complimentary breakfast. Overall everything of this hotel is very good, i will surely love to stay here on my next trip.
We stayed here for our company's business trip last time around for 2 nights. The hotel is quite strategically located in the city centre close to plenty amenities like supermarkets, restaurants & coffee shops. AEON mall is a short 5 minutes walk from the hotel, where there's also Starbucks cafe nearby. The area is somewhat famous for middle eastern cuisines so it's really handy for us who came from a muslim country to find halal food. The lobby was somewhat ordinary & it adjoins with an office building, but the room was really spacious, even for Chinese hotel standards. The decoration is what you can described as 90's era but it serves its function. The view from the room is a plus point because you can see the majority part of the city unobstructed due to the high floors we stayed in. The hotel also has a rotating restaurant at the top but it was closed for renovation when we stayed there so we didn't really experienced it. Overall, it's an okay for me personally but I clocked in 4 stars due to its competitive rate, it's worth the price for what you get from an aging hotel in Guangzhou.
