Stayed here a week on business. Parking is very convenient, just outside the door. Traffic in and around is bad, but expected. Easy and quick check in. Lobby is plain, but fine. Hallways to the rooms kind of dark and stains on carpets. The room was pretty spartan, but reasonably clean. Not much space for getting comfortable. The second floor room had an outside balcony with not much to look at other than the parking out back. The fridge is under the desk offering little legroom when wanting to use it. Breakfast was not impressive. Scrambled eggs in several different forms, with some days swimming in some kind of soupy mixture. Meats were never included for breakfast (e.g. bacon). Many locals seemed OK with the breakfast but I was not. Must be an acquired taste. Only one small bottle of water is provided each day so be sure to visit the Walmart to have enough to drink and for coffee. Nice to be within safe walking distance to a number of restaurants. Not so sure I would stay here again other than for central location and it’s many dining options.
Very simple but very clean and very complete hotel for everything I needed. It is very closed from a shopping center and in walking distance from "plazas" with good restaurants. The only thing was the blinds at our room needed changing. The blinds had several holes on them. Everything else was pretty good.
A very "simple" Wyndham Garden-branded hotel by US standards, but nonetheless a good-value basic business hotel in México. Breakfast was limited and hotel lighting is harsh-dim fluorescent, but The wifi worked.
Room was very clean. The breakfast was just ok. But I believe her name was 'America' or something close to that was very personable. I like her and she was easy to speak with. The staff spoke English. It sometimes took a while for my Shower to heat up. There were many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel
I was here recently on business and typically people from our company do not rent a car mostly because if you get in an accident it becomes a bigger problem than the states. So Cesar at the front desk was great at procuring a car for me to commute to our factory and back to the airport in Silao. I would say the hotel rooms are a little small but clean, the wifi was good and the breakfast in the morning was better if you get there a little later when the pancakes are out. I'm kind of a wimp with spicey eggs so that was a better option for me. Also, you are within walking distance to the very modern mall with restaurants and a multi screen cinema that's just like back home. I would stay here again and thank you Cesar for your help! Ken
In Irapuato for work. After a 12 hour work day the last thing needed is a cold shower. Despite multiple complaints the the administration, we had cold showers 8 nights in a row. Everything else was adequate, and the staff were friendly, but cold showers in a 4 star hotel is not good enough.
When I arrived to the hotel room , I was disappointed. I was expecting a Wyndham room! It was so plain and small. One of the lights did not work, the security box did not work. There were only 3 hangers for two persons in the closet. The sink was modern but you couldn't open the faucet without getting splashed all over. The telephone never worked properly. Every time I called my family in the other room, the line would ring and ring as if nobody was there in the room to answer. I had to get on the elevator and walk over to their room to ask for something. That was my experience with the hotel itself. The next morning, I went for breakfast and everything was delicious !!(Mexican food). There were also pancakes, toast, fruits, yogurt, sweet bread, etc. The lady in charged was so nice and courteous. I heard her greeting people in several languages. The people at the front desk were super nice. One of the guest asked for a taxi and they couldn't get a hold of one so they offered the hotel car to take him to his destination. They did everything to please the guests. Of course, this made me feel welcomed and safe that I completely forgot about all the complaints I had about this hotel!! 😜
A distinct lack of personality from the staff. The building is clean and bright, but the rooms are very small. Breakfast was simply awful. The most redeeming quality of this hotel is that it is located across the parking lot from an exceptional restaurant - "Argentinos" .
A very good hotel. Comfortable, modern rooms with everything one needs. Clean. Sufficient power outlets, even USB outlets. Good WiFi. Mutliple pillows, soft had etc. Very good bed. Breakfast is not very elaborate, but sufficient. The best thing about this hotel is that it's in the middle of a nice area in Irapuato. Surrounded by good restaurants and several bars. In the evenings a great place to be, plenty to see, do, eat and drink.
This little (but yet, comfy) option is great and cheap for visiting the grato city of Irapuato. It´s an option you should consider if you come with a tight budget. The city is great. lookingo forward for a comeback...
