Big and tall lobby (By that time construction footage was not an issue). Big white marble floor pieces surprise you in this rather austere city. Nice pool and 70's decor on the lobby and green lights / big mirrors on the rooms remember you great times of disco music and enjoyment. This is the kind of decor that some would like to copy to have a nostalgic and charming look, but this is actual. A little bit tarnished, but still functional, clean and with impeccable service that can even speak to several Japanese customers. Big and nice rooms. Please make sure everything is working. If not, they will gladly fix it for you Good and nice dining at the restaurant.

I am here on business and although this was not my first choice for a hotel, i'm actually glad that my first choice was booked. There's free wi fi and the signal is good. The hotel it's self is spotlessly clean, and the service is excellent. All of the employees are courteous to a fault, and they want to help you for everything. The parking is secure and there's 24 hour security all around the hotel as well as within the building. I felt very safe. The hotel has a lot of modern features like a touch screen that allows you to control the rooms temperature and such, but I actually didn't like that because I found it difficult to use. Other than that I don't have any complaints. The shower is nice and the bed was very comfortable with high-end linens. I'm extending my stay here and not moving to the other hotel. I would recommend this hotel to other business travelers who are in this region, it's not a great tourist destination, (with a less than impressive view of a busy highway) but the hotel itself is comfortable and very clean.

Nice rooms, clean, good service, excellence breakfast. I tried other hotels in the area and this is the one I recommend for business. They help with the transportation and allow to pay by credit card this service.

I stayed here for 2 weeks. Staff is very friendly and willing to help you all the time. The food in the restaurant is good. Pool looks nice but it wasn't the right weather to enjoy it.The biggest cons I would say are the crazy birds in front of the hotel and that there is no heating system in the room. I know is 90% of the time is warm but you have situations when you need it. Overall I would gladly check in again in this hotel.

The meandering mechanic here, back in Salamanca Mexico after a two-year hiatus. I am staying at the same hotel, the Holiday Inn Salamanca, as before. In fact, I have the same room as before. The hotel is even better than before. The staff is exquisitely professional and attentive; every want and need is addressed immediately. My laundry has shown up a day early three times in a row; the room is perfect every evening when I return from work. The hotel restaurant is also fantastic. Breakfast begins early enough to serve we worker bees, and the options are wide, from custom omelets to local dishes. Long days at work often necessitate room service; the food arrives fast and hot, within 25 minutes of placing the order. The level of service at this hotel would be replicated in establishments in the US that I would not be able to afford to frequent. Wonderful all around!

Good standard hotel. In my opinion was clean, quiet and the personnel professional. Good choice for dinner as part of the hotel structure. Room was enough spacious and the toilet in perfect conditions. I would certainly recommend this hotel

The hotel is a decent condition compared with other in the area. I would say this is the best option I have tried so far. Rooms are comfortable and restaurant is a plus. Food at the restaurant is good and service is outstanding. The only issue found with this hotel is the location is very very close from the train tracks. So it is very noisy some times. Unfortunately this is an issue for my and I would look for another alternative. Summary, very good hotel, but noisy

BUFFET LUNCH: Our group stopped at the Holiday Inn for a beautiful buffet lunch, after touring various sites in Salamanca (Templo do St. Augustin is a MUST-SEE). The staff quickly put together a very large table for our group, and immediately seated us and served wonderful "pineapple and lemon" water and bread. The food was fresh (chef on sight, cooking at the buffet line) and delicious, and the staff was "5 Star"! The lobby and bathrooms were "clean as a whistle" and very attractive.

Here is a party by the pool is carried out on some Saturday night. So, no time for dreaming, because noisy party continue until midnight… I appealed to the reception to noisy, but it continue for some time. This hotel has lost significance as accommodation.

This is a decent hotel, clean and comfortable. Good food and good service. The only downside is the hard wood floors in the rooms which make it a bit noisy at times. I've stayed here several times and will likely stay again. It's certainly the best in Salamanca, but that's not saying much.
