Excellent location, for people of companies of the industrial polygon San Miguel de Allende, besides being very close to the downtown, in a colinial atmosphere tranquility in its spaces, where you can relax and also work. So also if rest goods you can enjoy the city and its different activities, has transportation to approach the center, highly recommended.
This hotel is wonderful, super clean, great service from staff and at the restaurant. It is few minutes from El Centro but they have a van that will shuttle you to town every hour. The room is big has its own separate sitting living room, bathroom is clean and good water pressure, clean towels daily if you want. The bedroom is comfortable beautiful furniture and very comfortable bed(king size with hotel quality linens). The restaurant food was average some items were better than others. I would return here to stay, we did not use the pool but we did see it being used daily
Staying here at present. Third visit. Love this place. The king suite is wonderful! Spacious with a fireplace. We also have a mini frig, so convenient. The room and grounds are beautiful and immaculate. The restaurant is very nice. Good quality and friendly staff. The pool is very relaxing. The shuttle to centro is a great feature. No worries about parking in town. This hotel is just wonderful! What else can I say!!!???
This hotel is nice and clean but it is far from the centro. It mentions a fireplace but our room did not have one although it did have the manual for one. We froze the night that we stayed. Also, don't choose a room near the front desk nor the restaurant. Our room was right around the corner from the front desk, very near the courtyard and it was noisy and, even with ear plugs, we had difficulty sleeping.
At first I was disappointed to find how far it was to walk to ctr but was depending on a ride anyway. Hotel was very comfortable, clean, us networks, wifi worked, breakfast good, staff helpful and friendly. We also ate dinner there once and was good. Would want to stay here again if returned
Wonderful building with beautiful rooms and nice amenities, including a decent size pool (although not heated) and a jacuzzi. Service is a bit spotty, mainly due to the language barrier since most of the staff speak fairly limited English. The location is not that great, since it takes at least 20-30 min of walking to reach the historic center, although the hotel provides a shuttle service. However, despite these negatives, this is still a very good hotel and an excellent choice in SMA, particularly if you have a car.
Beautiful hotel. We were given room 103. It was huge and very clean. The staff was very nice and welcome us with smiles and always asking if everything was fine with our room. The hotel is located 10 minutes drive from the center of San Miguel, but we took the hotel shuttle and this was available every hour from the hotel from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm. Love our stay in this place. Planning to go back and I will stay at the Hotel Casa primavera. Thank you so much to all the staff who made this a wonderful stay.
we stayed here during Thanksgiving and had a wonderful, relaxing experience. the wait staff was great. Ask for Felipe for shuttle, he knows the area and is so kind. Also Leslie and her team in the restaurant/bar are so pleasant. It was not downtown, but close enough to walk and discover the town. Shuttle or the taxis, all affordable, if you don't like to walk. Can't wait to go back !
We were visiting San Miguel de Allende for a wedding. The hotel was beautiful! The rooms were really big, with comfortable beds, a gas fireplace, and a sitting area. The bathroom also has an area outside the toilet/shower room with a chair and great lights perfect to put makeup and get ready. The staff at the front desk was very good, the service overall was great. They have a restaurant/bar in the lobby. I never ate there, just had a couple of drinks. The people were very polite and offered good service, but they were extremely slow in serving. I did notice it was like that in most of the restaurants in the area, so they just work in a different pace that I am used to in the US. But other than that I think service was great. If you are looking for a hotel that is walking distance to the main plaza, this is not the place for you to stay. It is a 5-10 min ride on a Taxi, depending on traffic, which is not bad, but if you prefer to walk everywhere I would stay somewhere else.
While we enjoyed the hourly shuttle into town and it's drivers, the service inside the hotel was not as gracious. Without sounding spoiled, if guests are laying by the pool, a waiter should be sent to ask about drinks (not inside visiting each other). A gentleman brought out towels one day, but the rest we used the room towels. Someone needs to sweep the pool area daily, as there were cigarette butts and someone's fake fingernail littering the area (gross, I know!) several of the days were were laying out. The service for the restaurant is slow to deliver, and there is a disconnect between what the menu says and what you actually receive. My husband had to argue the point, and he speaks Spanish! Also, if staying for several days, the staff wants you to charge items to your room, not pay as you go. As we were there for business and leisure, this made it difficult for him to use his per diem. The room was large and clean, and I loved the balcony (no A/C). Stay away from the downstairs rooms, as the restaurant/bar are on the noisy side early and late hours. My spouse has used this hotel several times for the proximity to work, but we will try someplace new next time. A shame because the structure is beautiful, and could really be so much more with the right employees.
