Regretfully the casino (as are all casinos in Costa Rica) was closed. Easy access to the beach and beautiful sunsets. The staff was nice and efficient.

Property was partially closed, there we with reduced staff. The Casino was closed. Government restrictions cost an Additional $460 for the trip. The resort changed my reservation from an all inclusive to a breakfast only, but gave me a $400 plus credit that could only be used before the end of the year. I do not remember a trip this bad, and I travel a lot.

Nice place to stay with your family. Should have facilities from the hotel at the beach area but overall everything was fine.

The rooms were great and the lobby staff very kind. However some staff at the restaurants were very rude. The food menu could be better with more options to choose from. We were told there was no tables available when in fact half of the room was empty.

The best was the room, the variety and quality of the food and the very good service of the people in the eating rooms and the bars. The worst (and the unique we did not like in our stay) was the check-in. No courtesy and empaty of the lady who said to be the service manager. Nothing criterious to leave us make our check-in a couple of hours before the established time (the hotel was only partially occupied). Whe could not take our lunch the first day and neither the last day, because our departure time flight. So we did not received what we paid for (one lunch less, never received). Very bad.

No hot tub which is a huge disappointment. Once the sun went down in the afternoon, the pool was too cold. Why build hot tubs with cold bubbling water? Also, restaurants were very limited. Not much variety.

It’s basically a hookerhotell!! Not for family not for couples. Drinks and vine watered out, bad bad bad. Had to write a evaluation for every meal, this way you are forced to write positive in order to not offend workers and staff who basically was very nice.

Great location excellent security services. The front desk staff is rude and disorganized. I brought a few issues about my room to their attention and it felt like they were laughing at me and never sent anyone to fix the issues. I had clogged drains in the bathroom, my entry door would not lock the dresser drawers were not opening and the shower had issues.

ALL INCLUSIVE IS TERRIBLE CHECK INN AFTER EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED AND CHARGED FOR EXTRA GUEST CPULDNT MAKE RESERVATIONS IN TESTAURANT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS EMPTY MEALS WERE POOR AND SCHEDULE AT TIMES FOR YOUTO MISS THEM ALL INCLUSIVE SCAM

LAPTOP STOLEN. Front desk staff very unhelpful. Management rude and unprofessional. DON'T STAY THERE. I haven't visited more than 55 countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels. This was my worst nightmare. I believe hotel's management is involved in this theft nexus.

Sheets were never changes in my room. Missing towels always. Room was hot all the time. Asked for fan- they said none was available. Personal seemed like they were scared to death to lose their jobs. Always asking me to fill out surveys-after every meal! I would offer this hotel to anyone!

Had a awesome time wonderful pool and right on the beach we slept on the beach really a wonderful time

Then is so encouraging to read this kind of comments due to we work every day to accomplish all our guest's expectations. Unfortunately the restrictions we still have on the country doesn't allow us to open casino as we want to, nevertheless we are working on this project to do as soon is possible. Dear guest, We are sorry that your stay was not what you expected. Government restrictions are frustrating for us too. Although the casino is closed we have three restaurants open as well as our main bar. We are more than happy to extend your credit till you are able to use it - we are doing this as a standard policy. Please let us know if we can help you with this.

Thanks for your suggestion regarding the facilities at the beach, as well. Unfortunately, a permit is required to provide chairs and other amenities on the beach, and we have not been able to acquire one as of yet. If we were to provide these facilities, we would receive a ticket from the municipality. Nonetheless, we trust you had a relaxing visit. Please allow us to welcome you back the next time you're in the area.

While it's great that you appreciated our fabulous rooms and friendly lobby service, we apologize for the perceived rudeness of some restaurant staff members. This will be reviewed with the team as guest satisfaction is our top priority. Our Executive Chef is now working on food specials to add to all the restaurants (different ones) to provide our customers with more and better options for food! These will be available in a couple weeks from now! We hope for another chance to serve you and improve your perceptions.
