Fantastic staff and location. Montreux is such a beautiful place and this hotel is a jewel to visit.
Stayed here one night on a Swiss riviera tour and wished could stay longer. The location of the hotel is just excellent right across the train station and in front of the lake. We had a beautiful lake view room with a balcony where we sat watching the sun set, it was magical. The breakfast was good and the restaurant with views of the lake was beautiful. We arrived on a Friday and the market by the lake was so so good. Hotel staff was helpful and polite. Would definitely come back!
Hotel was being worked on and seemed empty, but we were not allowed to check into our room early which would have been nice since we had arrived in Europe via an overnight flight from the U.S. earlier that day.
Everything was fine except that we found out there is no provision for tea/ coffee at the room which we assumed was standard practice.
Pros: very well maintained facilities, nice restaurant with marvelous lake view, right at the center of all activities in Montreux, they give you a card with free train/bus rides and 50% off boat rides Cons: if you have a car, the parking is expensive: ~ $35/night
