Good location easy to reach - very service frindly staff - nice and clean room. Even restaurant closed on sunday night, the staff in the bar makes a few good dishes. I highly recommend Mercure in Groningen.

Food is really good on evening. Breakfast is mix of breads and salads, with meat cuts. And usually breakfasts found in hotel chains. Room is nice and clean bit small, but everything works. Internet is very good and free. Bar area is popular for diners during week.

Yet another great stay here. Staff and service always first class. Restaurant food is excellent. Rooms are clean and spacious. I've been staying here every September for the last 3 years and the standard never drops. Only down side you have to pay for parking in the hotel car park but it seems to be the same for all hotels in the area.

Good inexpensive hotel (weekend rates). Good breakfast selection, modern bedrooms which was small but comfortable as was bathroom. The room heating was very efficient and at times a bit uncomfortable. The small fridge in the room was a bonus. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant (we did not eat here). It's a short taxi ride to the railway station and centre of town the fares was about €10. All things considered I would stay at this hotel again if I was in the area.

Visit to see daughter at Uni this hotel has become our regular haunt. Why because always a warm welcome, good value deals we take a priviledge room top floor main building at the back. The bar at night provided a cosy haven cheers to Tim the barman and colleagues. A chance to see Groningen fc on the Sunday and then discuss with knowledgeable fans manning reception on return. Looking forward to next April return .Our choice of hotel after a few years now when in town

A typical example of this chain hotel situated by the ring road in a modern building. Rooms are comfortable but not particularly spacious but the bathroom is better than expected. Pay the extra for the two top floors, cheaper parking and a limited range of drinks in the minibar (beer, wine and soft drinks).

The hotel is conveniently located. Room are clean and pleasant furnished. The service is very friendly ! I had dinner at restaurant and it quite good, here it might have to improve a. It as the meat was not correctly grilled (different cooking point than asked ). very

Great hotel and location but don’t forget your earplugs! Booked a privilege room (top 2 flloors) but the roon facing the roundabout was farto noisy. Reception helped to find a new room (4th floor much quieter ) and upgraded the room with the bits to make it like a privilege room. Hotel very full so really appreciated staff going the extra mile to help. Plenty for all tastes at the buffet breakfast, hot drinks from the vending machine which does use fresh beans! Been before and will go back despite noise as location and value for money all works for me. Off street parking just €3.75 bargain :)

Stayed for one single night during a short trip to both Groningen and Friesland. This Hotel is outside city center but it was very convenient since is close to the main road. Staff working there were really friendly and efficient. All the entire common areas and our room were properly clean and in good conditions. Free WiFi.

Very clean . Handy for travel route just off the motorway and easy to rejoin motorway . Road works while we were there right before entering car park. We stayed on a Sunday night - but I could imagine queuing traffic probably there Monday to Friday . There seemed to be only one member of staff at bar and one on reception . They both worked their socks off as it was quite busy . Had a meal at the bar/restaurant was told it was a lite-bite meal - they didn't do proper meals - ordered the grilled chicken salad huge plate came along with bread very tasty .
