Our room was very dated and dirty. The main door handle on the inside side came off.
TV was low resolution. Floor were nasty, had not been vacuumed in awhile. The rest was good though
No housekeeping due to Covid 19. I understand that. But we couldn't get the television to work
The ad said there was breakfast, but in real life there was nothing, not even a grab and go. Room was dingy and a little nasty.
Positives- nice hot water when taking a shower, great water pressure, refrigerator and microwave in the room. Negatives: faucet handle in the shower was not functioning correctly. It was difficult to get it to turn and also to get the correct water temperature. The bedspread had bleach stains on it. The rooms odor was VERY musty and smelled from once being a smoking room. The parking spots near the rooms had empty water bottles in the gravel and also could stand a good cleaning. The staff needs to canvas the area and pick up the trash to make the place look a bit better.
The inly thing i liked about the property is the convenience of the location

I just recently graduated from Nursing school and had to take my licensing test in Stockbridge GA. My test time was early morning and I live about an hour and a half away, and rather than get up at the crack of dawn, I opted to find a hotel close by. This hotel was a half a mile from the testing center and I picked it based on the distance and posted rating on Orbitz. I ended up checking in to the hotel around 7 PM and made sure that I called the hotel to advise of the late check-in. When I arrived, it was like they were waiting for me. Check-in was super fast and efficient and the lobby/check-in area was very bright and clean. When I got to my room, I was pleased to see that the room was very clean and cool because the AC unit had been left on. The hotel is obviously older, but it is apparent it received a number of recent updates/modifications. The grounds were also equally clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy and I enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast the next morning that the hotel provided. My only complaint is that the internet connection was down the entire time I was there. I had hoped to get a little online studying accomplished for the test the next morning, but could never get online. To be fair to the hotel, I never called the front desk to report the problem, so I never gave them the opportunity to remedy the situation.
