The room was comfortable & clean, beds great. Really needed an accessible room but this was all they had. Stayed in room 110, people next door went in & out of their room every 5 minutes & slammed doors until very late. Could also hear people in room above us which was very noisy. The breakfast was not edible, even the coffee was not good. Would never stay here again. Complained on checkout, person said he thought he was going to have to call the police the night before. This exit 218 is very congested, difficult to get to anything including restaurants.
We stopped here on our way home from Florida. They were able to give us a great deal and made sure we had a crib in our room. The room was very large (we are a family of 5 including a baby). Only complaint is that the walls are thin. We could hear the TV and kids in other rooms. Nothing too disruptive, but still audible. Breakfast was good and hotel seemed clean and staff were friendly. We would probably stay again.
This place has potential but is in need of a deep cleaning and actual attention. Our room was covered in a coat of dust, food particles under bed, lobby floor not mopped, and parking lot covered in leaves. High tax rate added $20 to room rate plus an unnecessary $1.50 fee for the safe in the room. Way overpriced for current level of quality. Rooms are large with queen size bed and fold out couch. Decent offerings for breakfast. Convenient to interstate and lots of gas stations and food options. We only needed a bed and it was decent but I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it. Plenty of other options in the area that might actually have housekeepers.
Our room was clean and spacious! equipped with microwave and fridge which we used both. We took our chances and stopped enroute from Florida and had a nice quiet stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We opted to eat at nearby restaurant suggested by hotel staff for dinner but opted for their continental breakfast the next morning. We would stay here again.
I was disappointed with this property. The front desk was not attentive at all. The room was nice but housekeeping can do a better job cleaning, it looked like they haven't dusted in a while. I didn't get up for breakfast so I can't comment on it. The area had plenty of restaurants locating close by.
We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and room is fine. My only problem this trip was at 4:00am and we were woken up to loud moans and groans from the room next door. I finally got out of bed and pounded on the wall and then it stopped. Hotel needs sound proofing. What if we had our grandchildren with.
I had become a customer that avoided Comfort Inn and Suites due to some disappointing stays. In this case, it was a last minute booking on a 'blind site' that sounds a lot like shot fire. I made the booking based on a very strong customer review rating, and the hotel didn't disappoint. For example, one of the tricks I've run into with CI&S properties in the past was 'whatever room the customer asks for, it's an extra charge'. Since you aren't permitted to select a room type (in this case), then if I arrive at the hotel, and need two beds, they say "sorry, that rate is only for a king". Or if you ask for a king, the answer is "sorry that rate is only for doubles". None of that here. Everything about check in was smooth, speedy and helpful. My room (407) was in exceptionally good condition, and very well appointed. The AC was a little noisy, but I usually resolve that by just putting the fan on full time (which worked in this case). The furnishings were first rate and while not new, they were in very good condition. After looking around a good bit, I finally found something that wasn't 'sparkling". I'll include photos, but the showerhead itself had some hard water stains. Otherwise 100% of the brightwork was spotless. It's rare that I can't spot just a little bit of mold or mildew on shower grout, but not here. Very well done. My sleep was restful to the point I almost missed breakfast (I still say 9:00 am is too early to shut it off). I raced downstairs at 8:40, and found that most things were still available, but there were a few things that were out (2% milk, no butter). While mostly clean, there were stations that were showing inattention. You could hear the staff bustling away in the back, but they only made a brief appearance as I was leaving. As far as the food, the reconstituted eggs were pretty bad, but the sausage patties were tasty. I had a waffle that cooked well, but stuck to the iron. The provided tool eventually extracted it, but I miss having the spray option. Areas to improve: Better eggs; trash can near the waffle iron (for ditching the measuring cups), improve the drawer with the hard-boiled eggs (it is very awkward with one hand, easy to spill). I did attempt to use the pool, but through no fault of the hotel, I chose to skip it. There was a family enjoying the pool, but with their kids inappropriately dressed. A child of about 3 wore nothing at all (I'm not even sure this kid was out of diaper age) and screamed constantly (like fearful screams) as Dad was trying to teach him to swim I suppose. Another child, a girl of 10 or more was wearing only underpants. I didn't need a swim that bad, and I probably would have ruined the kids fun if I reported it. It was late, so I went to bed. The only other disappointment was that I stopped at the desk after breakfast and asked for a late checkout (it was currently about 9AM). I was offered 12 noon (one hour late), and I accepted. Promptly at 11AM there was a knock on my door from housekeeping awakening me, as they hadn't been told of the new time. Minor, but something I expect to be handled at nicer places. We stay at this exit fairly regularly, as it represents "after Atlanta" or "before Atlanta". This was our second stay at this hotel, though it has clearly been updated since our last stay. I am very pleased, and will seek out this property for future stops. They did most everything well, and at an attractive price. It also earns a renewed interest the brand as well.
Quick night stay while traveling home. Room was big - had two queen beds and sofabed - clean. Bed comfy. Free breakfast - great service. There were plenty of places to eat nearby - Culver's and a bar within walking distance.
Stayed here this weekend due to a soccer tournament. I was happy with the size of the room. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. There are restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive. Not sure if it was due to the tournament or not, but the restaurants were PACKED every night at dinner (obviously not a hotel issue but just FYI). The only small item regarding the hotel is that they have a little shop with snacks and necessities....I think they could have been better stocked. If you're going to be in this area for a short stay then this is definitely a good option.
This is a very nice hotel, just off I75. Nice clean room, safe & quite location. You can occasionally hear traffic from the interstate, but usually only when big trucks are breaking, etc. The breakfast was good; it's served from 6-9 every day. The pool area was nice and clean. The hot tub was broken when we were there, but the repairman was scheduled. The staff is amazing!!!! Especially Nicole. Everyone is so nice and helpful! The printer in the business center wasn't working and I needed to print attraction tickets I'd purchased online. Nicole made sure they got printed for me. Thanks again! There's a gas station, shopping, and a couple restaurants nearby. Wal-Mart is probably about a mile or so away. My only complaint is that you can't turn left from the hotel's street onto the main road. Not a huge deal, though, you turn left out of the parking lot, then turn right on the first street, then turn left and that takes you to a stoplight. I would definitely stay here again!
