Nice hotel, very clean. Staff was excellent specifically Jamie at the front desk. She went out of her way to find us a room when the original hotel we booked turned out to be unsatisfactory. Jamie was very friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again. Free breakfast would make it even better.
Room wasn't ready at checkin and the clerk refused to give me a time estimate, just that "all those people over there are waiting too". That did not sit well with me as a travel agent and for my husband who is very close to being a platinum member. The room itself was great, better than we anticipated. The room was clean and very spacious. The king bed needs replaced, as when I climbed in I rolled to the center. There is a definite sag there in the middle. With that being said, the pros of this room and hotel totally outweighed the bed sag and the bed was comfortable despite the sag. The bar has a happy hour from 4-7pm. The bartender was attentive and nice. We ordered some southwest egg rolls from the restaurant and they were hot, fresh, and good. Great location and I would absolutely stay here again.
We have been to the Greenville area for many years visiting, but this is the first time we stayed here. We found it to be very clean, and staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
The parking space for the Tesla supercharger was reserved with cones, but about 25% if the space was blocked by a large shrub. I had to park right on the line to barely fit. Ding in my car door from the car that was parked next to me. Advised front desk, promised to trim the shrub, but didn't. Suffered scratches from the shrub. Gave $50 off my bill (2 rooms, 2 nights), but that hardly covered the cost of damage and mgr was a bit snippy.
This hotel is a stellar example of the Wyndham family of hotels...excellent service & staff, great convenient location.
Check in was smooth. Our room was ok but the comforter on the bed was badly stained and very nasty. It was changed, although we had to help. The pull out sofa was broken, brought to the attention of the manager, who simply told us the hotel engineer said it needed to be thrown out. No other accommodations could be made bc the hotel was full. Overall a miserable stay. I would recommend the Home2Suites directly beside it. Big rooms, very clean, and a very nice place to stay.
We pulled into the Wyndham Garden hotel on a rainy Sunday night, exhausted after a hard drive in bad weather. We were met by friendly, smiling staff who quickly sorted out our reservation and pointed us toward our room. The elevator whisked us to the 5th floor where our clean, cool, comfortable room awaited. The room was a generous size, wiith a small but functional desk, a fridge, and a large, inviting bed covered in crisp sheets. The large bathroom sparkled and there was plenty of hot water on demand. We enjoyed our breakfast the next morning (an extra $9, somewhat overpriced) with a good selection of cereal, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, crisp bacon, and cooked-to-order eggs. The hotel also has a small swimming pool, but we did not use it. The Wyndham Garden was a nice, quiet, professionally-run place. We would recommend it.
We checked in around 9:00 with the intention of eating breakfast at the hotel and then catching our flight. We were surprised to find there was a charge for breakfast (our fault for assuming) but also by the way my husband was informed- in a loud booming voice from the person across the counter that there was a charge for food. This was somewhat embarrassing and unwarranted and our family and the strangers behind us all left. The room was fine and served the purpose but what hotel doesn't offer muffins and coffee?
Decent place for one night. Staff not very helpful. I ordered breakfast that never arrived. After calling twice I was told to come downstairs and get breakfast.
I stay at A LOT of hotels for business, especially in the Greenville/Spartanburg area. This hotel was by far the best one I have stayed at so far around the $85-95 range. Always look for a discount because you would be surprised what deals you can get for great hotels like this! I accidentally booked a 2 queen when I wanted a king. The awesome employee switched it no questions asked!
