This hotel is a perfect accommodation! The location is perfect...just off of I-85/I-385 with awesome restaurants and shopping nearby. The free breakfast is delicious and though I didn't use them, their office set ups for guests looked very nice too. Our room was impeccable with inviting crisp, clean linens and heavenly mattresses and pillows. My daughter prefers to bathe in a tub and I'm usually against that in a hotel, however, the cleanliness was excellent, so she enjoyed a nice soak in the tub. The staff was friendly and helpful too. We will definitely be back!
I stayed in this hotel with my teammates. We were competing at USC. Found roaches in this hotel and when we brought it to their attention they said "welcome to South Carolina" not acceptable! not clean..dried opened mustard packets behind the curtain. Toilet paper was not replaced without asking.
Stayed here this past weekend when the NCAA basketball tournament was in town and could not have been more happy with the hotel. Super clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the suites were HUGE!!! separate bedroom from the sitting and kitchen area and I have honestly lived in studio apartments smaller than this!!! As well, I have stayed at a lot of hotels with free breakfasts in my time but this one is easily the best. It was like having a buffet breakfast at a normal restaurant. Plus, super nice staff as well. Obviously it is not downtown but the drive or uber ride was not too bad, and yes, this is not the Ritz Carleton, but for the price you get WAY more than you pay for.
"Staybridge Suites" hotel is situated in outskirt of the town it is very near to shopping centers and eateries. The appearance of the hotel is decent and reception was helpful. I asked for a room on first floor. In the lobby, there was an uncomfortable smell, may be due to pets. Room was very decent and comfortable for long stay. Breakfast provided is appreciable for a lot of varieties. Dinner in hotel has limited options but fine. For Indian food, nearby 'Saffron' restaurant is the best which serves true and authentic Indian cuisines. Overall my stay here was comfortable.
We are placed here by my employer for a month as we are just moving. This place makes settling in very easy. It is pet friendly, has a small kitchen and enough room to store our plenty suitcases. The janitor brought a dog toy on our first day and one of the front desk clerks helped us to donate the transport boxes of our dogs to the animal shelter. The staff is friendly, breakfast is free and there are 3 free dinners included. The place is close to a lot of shopping possibilities and supermarkets as well as a lot of dining places.
This is a convenient location (although busy area) close to shopping. A nice modern Staybridge Suites. Around midnight water started dripping from the ceiling unto the bed. We called the front desk and we immediately told to move to another room. They did not offer compensation for this convenience without out prompting but the assistant manager agreed to it after I asked. I had stayed using IHG Rewards Club points so I asked for a return of the points. There was a technical glitch with IHG's systems but after an email and phone call, I now have my points back.
Lovely hotel , nice people? Clean room, my family and I enjoy our stay, Pool was always clean .transport to Disney was on time, I will go back. Only one small problem, we only have 2 remote for 3 tv, and breakfast was the same thing everyday,
The staff at Staybridge were very helpful and even though the hotel was going through a renovation, the ammenities were provided in a very adequate way. The included breakfast is great. The only negative is the use of "throw-away" plates and utensils and no recycling of paper plates. Overall a very comfortable stay for 8 days and convenient to the Woodruff Road "strip".
So, we've stayed here before and had a great experience. They are currently under construction, a note I was not informed of before booking. I'm sure it will be back to normal standards soon but, for now, I would avoid. Fresh paint smells, mold in my room, dryer burnt all my clothes (every single article), a/c doesn't really work, dust everywhere, what looked like mouse feces in areas of my room. Breakfast was especially bad (the kitchen area is out of service so they have a makeshift area). Even worse, I cashed in a rewards night for this.... Feel a bit cheated.
Nice hotel, good rooms and cleanliness, only problem was that the nice sitting/eating area was shutdown into the 2nd week of my month stay. Notice was given 1 day before and this made life difficult as there was no breakaway area to visit away from the bedroom. Staff were lovely but breakfast food a little bland and dry for European tastes.
