Traveling with our adult children, a suite style room works great. One bedroom had a queen size bed and the second room had two double beds. We also had two bathrooms (a must!) a living room and mini kitchen connected the two bedrooms. Very roomy! The room was ready upon arrival, front desk staff friendly and knowledgeable. Upon first inspection the rooms were clean and smelled fresh. My one complaint with our stay was finding a pair of shoes left under the bed by a previous guest. Housekeeping should have caught that! Other than that issue the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. Breakfast in the morning was a delightful find! Waffles, mini-omelettes, grits, oatmeal, bacon were just some of the options available. Well done! A few restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel which is a nice option.
We stayed at this property for a soccer tournament. Upon checking in, the room caused me a lot of issues with allergies. Something was up, and I wasn't sure what. I talked to the front desk, and they went above and beyond to help me out during my stay with the kiddos. They went and bought new pillows and cleaned my room again. Although there wasn't much they could do, they went above and beyond. The manager and Victoria at the front desk were terrific. If we come back to Greenville, we'll definitely consider this property as our home -- if I can get the allergy situation figured out!
enjoyed our stay. We got a two room suite with living room. Was great did not need to go of room to check on every one. having the Refrigerator was greet. Best thing was they had a great hot breakfast ever morning and a good dinner 3 of the week nights.Rooms where clean and big wifi was good and staff was excellent.
Clean, comfortable, spacious room with good facilities in a good position for visiting Greenville and the surrounding area. Breakfast was varied on each day and the coffee hot and fresh assisted by friendly staff. 12 noon check out was a bonus as we had time to kill on our last day, small pool and fitness room on site and good wifi.
What keeps me at the top of IHG hotels members as an aspire elite is this brand of hotels! They provide a Managers reception almost daily with food. For a traveling business man who comes with his family this is a great cost benefit. The rooms at this hotel are not bad at all I wish they had more doubles available for upgrades but they are a real caring friendly staff here. I had a package delivered and it was a mix up at the front the day before and I did not get it. I called and they sent it to my house. Thanks for the good times I am coming back this weekend and look forward to the pool and grill 👋
Traveled to Greenville, SC to watch the Solar Eclipse and get out of town for a few days. The hotel is convenient to I-85, and has a shopping center with Whole Foods and two pretty good restaurants just down the street. My reserved room was waiting for me. The room consisting of a bedroom, living room and stocked kitchen area was clean. The two TVs and outlets worked just fine. Many of the lamps had electrical outlets on the base to allow easy cell phone and I-Pad charging. The hotel was completely booked, but the staff remained friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, standard offerings, with seating inside and outside on a patio. The gym was located on the first floor next to the elevator was very nice, with the temp kept at a nice, cool 68 degrees. The internet connection worked well during our stay. All things considered, this is a decent, doable hotel and I would return if in the area.
Nasty, run down, over priced hotel. Brown stuff wiped all over the comforter. Sent my Fiancé to tell someone and a woman came in to get the comforter and once she picked it up I noticed hair all over the sheets. She said what color is it? If it's brown it's Maria's hair. Food all under and beside the bed which means they never vacuumed the carpet. Shower head is completely dirty and mold all over it and the corners of the shower. Bathroom floor is nasty and looks like it hasn't been swept or mopped. Fake tile in the shower is actually peeling from the wall which shows a gap between the wall and the tile. Dirty smell throughout the entire room. The mattress spring is completely yellow. They put a skirt on it but it barely fits so you can see the entire dirty spring. In the kitchen area, the fake granite counter top is broken into two pieces and slanted off the wall. Too scared to look in the refrigerator or even use the kitchen. So uncomfortable and definitely does not reflect what a 3-star hotel should feel or look like. Definitely would never recommend this hotel or stay here again.
The hotel staff are great. The hotel is clean and the outdoor kitchen was wonderful. The queen suite was kinda small though. The internet is not fast enough to stream movies...I enjoyed the breakfast I the morning too. It is very convenient to get to any of the places on Woodruff Rd. I hope they upgrade their internet because that will give them a 5.
We thoroughly enjoyed most aspects of our stay here. We didn't try breakfast as we had an early flight from GSP but thought the place and lived up to our expectations. The suite was excellent and we were surprised by how many family groups were staying here, rather than the business travelers that normally dominate these places. They serve an excellent complementary 2 hour dinner and drinks service and the menu items seem to be selected so that they can be taken back to your suite and warmed up in the microwave. It was pizza and salad on the night we stayed and we made a good decision to plate it up early, ready to eat later in our room. It was only when I watched a big guy, who I earlier noted had failed to wash his hands before leaving the restrooms, manhandling slices of pizza with his (unwashed) bare hands that we began to notice how many other people did the same thing; adults and kids. Implements are provided for people to help themselves with but a surprising number of our fellow guests just ignored them. The other noticeable problem with this free-for-all buffet was how many people piled up slices onto their plates, only to leave most of it for the cleaning staff to move. So, when Staybridge Suites asked me to write a review on my stay, I pointed out how a food server would have been a useful asset, which was my one criticism. They rejected my review for having 'inappropriate content'. Apologies guys, if you had pointed out that you wanted 100% non-critical reviews, rather than honest feedback, I might have known better! So, starting out with a five point maximum score, lose one point for a very appropriate food hygiene issue and a second point for trying to hide it.
The property is very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and caring. The rooms are huge and very clean. Nightly meals available for free from 5:30 to 7:30, including free wine and beer. Great pool and outdoor sitting areas. Excellent fitness center and library. Even their pantry shop is much better than most. I highly recommend this location! Note, we are Spire members, meaning we travel more than 75 nights per year.
