Definitely a huge "ewwww" factor here. Not sure why other people scored this hotel so highly. Although my actual room appeared to have been cleaned- it was very well-worn and in shabby shape that clean sheets & vacuuming could not fix (not faulting the maid- but the management). Peeling paint & holes in walls. Moldy shower curtain with damaged shower head. My air conditioner worked, but the other person in my party had a unit where the buttons had been worn off & they could not adjust their room temp. Hallways & common areas were filthy. The "back door" did not have a good slope for rolling up your suitcases & there was persistently a cloud of cigarette smoke there (even though they did have no-smoking signs posted). Some elevator buttons were not working & heard loud noises when riding. Only one ice machine working during our visit. Breakfast was standard fare. Poor-tasting sausage. I did not witness this, but someone else complained about cigarette stubs in breakfast area. I don't mind staying in a budget motel, but I do expect more from this brand. Most of staff were pleasant except one front desk person. Skip this hotel & keep looking.
The hotel staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and updated. The breakfast had a wide variety of food. The location was very accessible to all Greenville attractions. Highly recommend this hotel.

Please go and stay, experience it for yourself, you will not be disappointed!!!
Both times I have stayed here, the accommodations have been a great value. Each time I was able to get a clean room at a great price. The only issues with this place would be the lack of parking (I parked next door at Taco Bell and had a 30 second walk) and the broken down button on the third floor elevator.
I enjoyed my stay there rooms were clean and the worker there are very friendly. Will be returning in August for another month stay hope to see everyone that was so nice and cheerful doing my stay there.
All the staff are great. Top notch folks. Very helpful in all that they do. Room is very nice with the king or king suite. one mile from major hospital and less than 1/2 mile from downtown. Rooms are very clean and well kept.
The rooms are spacious and the air conditioning is great but you have to remember that the thermostat is on the wall which they will remind you of before u check in. The staff is one of the friendliest that i have seen at a hotel even better than most five star hotels. U can tell that this hotel is ran properly and the manager has high standers, She is very helpful and nicest mangers i have ever met. I give the hotel a 9 out of 10
I had a confirmed reservation and when I arrived at midnight was informed they wouldn't honor it and they were overbooked. As someone who travels 50 or more nights per year I will go out of my way never to stay at a Quality Inn again. How in the world can they allow hotels to be overbooked?
the whole hotel smelled of smoke. We were lectured about not smoking when we checked in...told it would be $250 if we smoked in the room. No problem, we don't smoke. We had made the reservation for two nights but only stayed one. The elevator smelled like someone had shut the door and smoked an entire cigar. Only in our room did we not smell it, and in the bathroom it came in through the vents. We never saw someone smoking in the building, but they were smoking about 10 feet from the front entrance. At breakfast the man "attending" the food bar began shutting things down 15 minutes before the line was supposed to close and did not restock anything after that, even though there were about 15 people still in the room. Coffee dispenser was goofy, worked fine for one person, then only gave a short drizzle for the next. Decent breakfast food, but I am glad I got there 30 minutes before closing, as the food ran out and was not replaced. Workers didn't smile or greet you as they passed in the hall, etc.
This hotel is conveniently located to the downtown attractions in Greenville. You can tell it has gotten a lot of use due to the age and condition of the facility. Overall the place is average at best and that would be on a good day. The staff is great and you can tell that they make customer service a priority. The positives of my review stop there. It's definitely not the staff's fault regarding the shortcomings of the facility. Parking is limited, if you go out and return late you'll have to park at the taco bell next door. Doors leading to the stairwells do not close properly and will slam unless you hold the door and ease it to a close. They are heavy gauge metal and bang against the door jamb. Some guests rise and shine and get out early so starting at 6am you'll start to hear them when the door starts banging. If you're in a room close to them you can forget sleeping in. My room #205, is a sizable room with a king bed and sofa. Well used but clean, so I have no complaints there. Biggest concern was when I got back to my room around midnight and saw a dark spot on the ceiling above the bed. On close inspection it turned out to be a cockroach at least 2" long. After taking photographs of it before and after it's demise I called the front desk and told Mike that I was bringing it down for him to give to his manager in the morning. Of course there were no other rooms available so I slept with the lights on waking up frequently to make sure I saw no others. At checkout I asked what was going to happen and was told the information was forwarded to the "Owner" who would decide. The front desk staff was very apologetic as you can imagine but powerless with a resolution. I verified they had my contact info and was reassured the hotel doesn't have issues like that. Well, they do now because where there is one cockroach there are many. It's been two days now and I have yet to hear anything. If I was the owner I would put this issue at the top of my list. It's been two days and I have yet to hear anything. Sorry if I added more info than necessary but I did for two reasons. There are some decent positives to the hotel itself and the staff is very courteous and outgoing. My best advice is don't stay there but if you do bring a bait trap for cockroaches.
