Wow, what a nice stay for my classes! Low rate, nice, clean room. I slept for 7 hours in a comfortable bed and didn’t have to touch the thermostat! Staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was close to eateries, I-85 and many other places. I’d defenitely stay in this pet friendly hotel. All the pets and people staying here were also nice👍! Sylvia Union Mills, NC
Great location and very friendly staff. The room was adequate, had to ask for a coffee pot but it was readily available. Had a conference a couple of miles away and the ease of maneuvering Pelham Road was a huge bonus!
I wish that the negative reviews had been wrong. I checked them the day before I left for Greenville, so I could not get my reservation changed. Upon entering the room, it just seemed dingy. Then I noticed the leather recliner; something had been spilled on the seat and the seat back. I wiped it down with the dishrag. The bathroom had not been properly cleaned; the sink still had the soap marks from the previous tenant. Breakfast is coffee, muffins, and granola bars. Seriously. I stayed on the 3rd floor, so at least I didn't hear people above me, but the hallways are a littl e too active at night. I am recovering from knee surgery, so I needed to work out and stretch. No gym, so I had to use the stairwells. Once again, dingy is the appropriate adjective. I strongly urge you to avoid this hotel.
Working in Greenville and now have been staying here for 3 months. And still have another 3 to go. I like this place. clean and also quiet. Staff is great. I really enjoy the help from Jazmine, Meghan and Iris.
Nearing 6 months at this location, I can tell you that I will indeed choose to stay at Extended Stay America again. I have been traveling, nonstop, for over 2 years now, and have never felt so welcome as I have at this location. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, especially Iris, who will soon know you by name and make sure you get your mail, even if it`s a bill-haha! As you can tell, I`m impressed with the level of care they offer here, and want to make sure you get the picture. I checked in the month of Sept/2017, and will check out the end of Jan/2018. The free WiFi is strong, and the also offer an upgrade for a small fee.
This is my third time staying at this Extended Stay America. The first two experiences were not very good, including my truck being broken into in the parking lot and not even getting a follow up from management. Thankfully, this time my experience was far better. It seems as though the staff is paying more attention to detail, with less trash in the halls and the lobby more presentable. Although during my stay, the hotel was at most half-full, so I'm sure that had a positive impact on the trash and cleanliness situation. My room on the third floor was quiet (again, probably due to the place being half full) and mostly clean. The location of this hotel can't be beat - you can easily walk to Walmart, Starbucks, Bi-Lo (grocery), and many restaurants. The front desk check-in clerk was very nice. FYI, they no longer put a hold on your card for "incidentals" upon check-in (which always seemed odd to me, since there's no incidentals other than a buy-up to quicker internet speed, which requires a credit card on its own).... Room-wise, the bed was above average in comfort (although firm, which is my preference). The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The wi-fi was weak in room 301 so I ended up using my phone's hotspot instead. The one thing that still seems to be odd about this hotel is, it's absolutely not a 2.5-star property despite being advertised as such. Priceline shows it as a 2.5-star, which is deceiving, especially if you're booking one of their Express deals or name your own price. I'm not dissing this place necessarily; it's just not in the same league as a Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn, which are legit 2.5-star hotels. For example, the free breakfast offered by Extended Stay America is coffee and packets of instant oatmeal, compared to a full hot breakfast at true 2.5-star places (not to mention a pool, outdoor seating areas etc) Again, I'm not complaining, just sharing facts. Overall, considering the price, i had an above average visit. If you want a place to stay where you can get out and walk to shopping, food, coffee and even a grocery store, this is a best bet. Keep in mind it can get loud if the hotel is full, so if quiet is a priority, request a third-floor room away from the elevator. 301 was quiet during my stay.
Clean room, very nice staff, good location for businessstay. Will book at the extended stay again at my next stay. Everything around what you need like supermarkets and restaurants. Excellent for self-caterer too
I am a former executive from a national extended stay hotel chain and am extremely impressed with this property and it's dynamic staff. The rooms is extremely clean, there is a fitness room on my floor, and the little details have been given proper attention. It is a fun atmosphere led by an amazing front desk team and I will recommend this hotel in the future.
Staff was friendly. They were open late at night when I arrived. Room was clean. Breakfast was included. Plenty of parking space. Close to the city. Spacious room size. Over all the stay was comfortable.
- Booked first floor room got 3rd Floor room - full Kitchen but no dishes, no dishwasher, single sink - Microwave so old it took nearly 5 minutes to heat a cup of water - Second day of stay....... No hot water. When I left for work 1 1/2 hours later they informed me they just found out.??? No system Monitor???? - 3rd Day air Condition was not functional tried to call the desk for help...... Phone Doesn't work - internet requires you to log in every day exactly 24hours from the last log in.... if your streaming when it expires... it turns off - instead of offering you good net speed they make you pay for it additionally - the bedding is old and tired -Rooms and bathroom is clean - good location - Thru my coming and going I only saw someone manning the front desk 3 times in seven days, and not one time when I needed assistance. - can't come or go thru the front door without wading thru all the smokers under the entrance Canopy.
