The front desk staff was kind and helpful. My room however.. At 1st glance it was just decent. You could tell they did the minimum. The king bed appeared to be clean. The sofa bed however.. when it was pulled out the sheets were covered in blood.. and so was the bottom side of the cushion. The manager was very attentive to the situation and gladly provided a refund. I dont really consider it a hitel issue as much as an individual in the cleaning staff which probably wont be working there anymore.

It was a nice property. Enjoyed staying there. Convenient to Pickens, South Carolina.
Room was ok BUT the refrigerator didn’t work but it did click loudly every 30 seconds or so, the room door wouldn’t shut without force, the shower didn’t drain well (nothing like taking a shower in ankle deep water), the ac couldn’t cook very well (it took the lowest setting 60 and high fan to keep room somewhat comfortable).
overall the hotel is excellent and the service and people are too.
Location was difficult to turn in and out of. Staff was not very friendly. There were many issues with the facilities: closet door latch broken, no sink stopper, parts of refrigerator missing, treadmill broken, business center door would not work with key, screen in room was bent, etc. My wife was most upset over the little worm on her pillow when we were going to bed! Other than being poorly maintained, the facilities were nice and comfortable. The location was close to the venue for the duathlon I was participating in. The breakfast was good. I would probably consider another hotel if I come back.
They did not service the room, once do not disturb, once just skipped, I think the staff makes up for it. It only has one elevator and one of the worlds slowest. You should be prepared to share it with housekeeping. ( this is unusual in a hotel) Breakfast offerings were fine, the breakfast staff was great. Very helpful people that counter any hotel deficiencies.
I guess there was a problem with our third party reservations and BW surprised us with a suite! Everyone was so polite, and kind. The place was well kept. Room was clean. Breakfast was great... Zero complaints!

Again we apologize for the issue, and we have taken measurements too make sure this never happens again, you would also be correct in saying the employee is no longer here. We would like for you to stay with us again if or when back in the area.
