I always stay at the Hampton Inn Batesville. If I can’t stay at this location I’m disappointed. I staff is pleasant and very accommodating. Very family oriented atmosphere. Thank you for thinking of what you would like and giving it to your guests.
The title says it all !! Check in went fine. Taking luggage down the hall way and into the newer wing was OK. The hallway just before the room had a slight odor. The room smelled bad. The toilet appeared to work OK. We returned to check in to get a different room. It was OK. It was not on ground level as had been originally requested. Elevator not too inconvenient.
Nice clean room. Bit far for me to walk. Next time will ask for a room on first floor closer to pool. Very friendly staff..Pool area was clean, hot tub Luke warm. Nig pool area...Biggest complaint was breakfast. My husband and I travel a lot. Most hotels we stay in have continental breakfast. This hotels breakfast was sub par. Area was clean, just gross food. I threw it away and went to McDonalds across the road and brought breakfast back to room. But for the most part, very nice. I would recommend this Hampton Inn...
Very comfortable bed. Clean rooms. Very helpful staff. Helped with information about restaurants, other attractions and gave a discount to a couple of places. Close to other interesting places to visit, restaurants, interstate, etc. Easy to find. I would recommend this hotel.
This hotel has a nice location. When I arrived, the room that I had e-checked into had been given to another guest. I could not get an answer as to why that was the case, I was only given a floor plan layout and options of other rooms.
The best thing about my visit was the above average breakfast they offer free of charge, yet too many things made for an unsavory stay. the hot tube did not work, the room was ill-designed, as the small refrigerator was 10 inches from the air conditioner, the tv, being bolted down, was unviewable except for the left side of the bed, the closet was next to the tv, blocking the tv from the chair provided. you had to be inside the bathroom to close the door, there was a light INSIDE the shower, the water came out simultaneously from the shower head and the tub spout, there was 37 tv channels, (less then I get at home for basic service) all lights in the room all outdated CFL's, and the front desk personnel REFUSE to pass messages to guests in the rooms. Argumentative manager raised her voice to me for pointing that out, which is unprofessional and not a good way to treat people in general, let alone "guests". There is only 2 hotels in this area, so guess where I'm staying next time?
I had a reservation at a competing hotel but when I called for information the front desk Supervisor was rude and not helpful. A friend suggested the Hampton so I checked to see if they had a room at such a short notice. They did so I made my reservation, checked in, and cancelled the other reservation. I was so glad for the suggestion and the availability.
OLD HOTEL! The staff here is great but the rooms are old and the hotel is muggy. It needs a refresh!! It is shocking to me this hotel is still under the Hilton brand flag. The rooms are not dirty but just old - very old
I spent a week at this hotel on business. It was very nice hotel. It was located centrally near a grocery store and restaurants. The wifi is strong. I hate that it kicks you off every night at the time you logged in on it the night before. Look like they could set it for the number of days you are staying. Thus, I just waited every night at that time to log in and start to work. The rooms were well kept and in need of updating. They are renovating the hotel come the first of the year. I would stay here again.
Overall, typical Hampton Inn stay. Great bed, clean room, easy and fast internet access, and great staff at the front desk. I stopped at 9:00 PM without a reservation and they processed me in just a few minutes, and had me in my room. I was back on road at 06:00 so my stay was short, but I appreciated knowing that I would have a clean room and a great bed, just by using the Hampton Inn brand. Thank you!
