Close to good shopping & Pinnacles National Park
The front desk staff were extremely pleasant and professional. The property is pretty much what you'd expect from a Motel 6. Clean-ish. Wifi was iffy at best. The biggest issue for me was that there is NO soundproofing, and there were just a lot of very loud guests there at the time. Lots of kids and adults who were generally oblivious that there might be others staying there. There's not much to choose from near Pinnacles, so it might be the best you can find.
Good place to spend the night. It seems they have put a lot of work into it.
Excellent Customer Service! Under new ownership Staff accommodated all my requests, pool & hot tub clean & safe.. Cal king size bed in their king rooms with very nice spacious floor plans…impressive… will definitely be staying here again soon!
This is the only affordable lodging opportunity near the Pinnacles National Park West Gate. It's a fairly run-down motel that appears to cater to commuting construction workers and people working in the ag sector. The area around the motel is quite run down, as well. Most disappointing part of our visit was that the pool was completely filthy. Don't advertise that you have a pool if you aren't going to keep it in swimmable condition! Best we could tell, the room itself was in clean condition.
I liked that it was very close to Pinnacles National Park and affordable but it was a very outdated hotel that needs some work.
Sliding door from my room to the parking lot had a broken lock and was only secured by a broomstick stuck in the sliding door channel. For $100 a night? Really???
Friendly staff and great location right off the highway. Hotel needs major upgrade though as the facilities are very dated. Restaurant right next door.
I stayed two night in August, 2018. Check-in and check-out were quick, continental breakfast was abundant, and the spa was working. Wifi was good except that you have to log in again each time you use it, a minor inconvenience. Everything was as promised, and there were no surprises.
Main problem was with the air conditioning system. It was July and the A/C was not working properly. More than that, the hotel had set the entire A/C system to turn off at 8PM, the control box was right in the room. My husband unplugged the box and we at least got the fan to work. The room was clean and grounds were nice, but July without A/C is not acceptable. It was hard to sleep in such a warm room. On the plus side the room was large and clean.
The hotel grounds are decent, staff were nice, and the bed was ok. But, our non-smoking room *reeked* of cigarette smoke, to the point my eyes were watering.
Just one night. King bed was hard for my taste (I like a pillow top) but everything else was fine. Staff was excellent (both check in and at checkout). For being right off the highway it was quite. Had a pretty good restaurant next to hotel. Note; the "free" breakfast was pretty sad. Walk the 20 steps to the restaurant. :^)
Worked for us as base camp for our Pinnacles visit. Walking distance to downtown area which had a fun wine bar (Taste of the Pinnacles) and hearty Mexican (Plaza Garibaldi). Also grocery store and Starbucks nearby. Not fancy but good location and friendly staff.
When I checked in, there is a $4.00 "power fee" collected, which was not asked on the website or at the time of booking online. Very slow WIFI connection. Continental breakfast is bare minimum.
I had a good experience with my stay. Staff was very polite. I never felt unsafe or worried.
