all good

This is not. 4 star hotel. Bathroom door wouldn’t close bcz the toilet is in the way. Mold on wall in bathroom.

The place was great. No issues at all. Getting on the wifi was a little tricky, but I guess that just depends on your device, but we figured it out. I have only 3 complaints: 1. The fridge was missing a part on the door to hold drinks or whatever, and the freezer was odd... it would freeze my water (that was placed outside freezer compartment) but when I put my ice cream in the freezer overnight, it came out kinda soft and goopy. 2. The soda machine in the parking lot wasn't working. 3. They close a gate to the parking lot on a side street at night, I don't really get it because the entrance on the freeway is open 24/7 so I don't see the purpose is of the gate aside from being a mild nuiscance. ANYWAYS, these are very, very mild complaints, and would totally stay there again. Everything else was great. Great price and super close to downtown.

Decent hotel for the best price in the area. Close to the parkway, 35, and 36. Will definitely be coming back.

Older small motel. Rooms were clean but that's about it. The owners seem to be trying to spruce it up but there's not much to be done given the old design. Noisy with I 10 but very convenient to downtown. Will not return.

I am so angry I could scream. This motel was dirty and disheveled, the so-called continental breakfast area could only accommodate 4 people at a time, and the posted rate was 30% less than what we paid. This was not surprising, since most of the other patrons seemed to be there by the hour. If you don't mind coming home to pimps in the parking lot waiting for their "employees" to finish their jobs, then it might not be so bad. The owners were very nice, and I really felt kind of sorry for them, but I would not recommend this motel to my worst enemy. Sorry.

Staff was very friendly, was a kind of small area for breakfast but service and quick attention make the difference

For a budgete hotel 3 miles form downtown, this couldnt get any better. Very clean room, friendly management

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and the staff friendly.

Great location to the downtown children's museum and aquarium. Had a good variety of breakfast items just not much space in the lobby to eat. Not bad if you are just looking for a place to crash at night.

Pros: Great value. Clean. Convenient. Friendly and helpful front desk and housekeeping staff. Decent wifi. Cons: Parking.

Very clean hotel and is quite comfortable. The only gripe is the construction that did wake me at 6am.

Pros-The rooms were more than I had expected very nice furniture and I didn't notice until the second day that they had three pillows of all different kinds. Soft and fluffy, one of a firmer pillow, and then the third was I nice big body pillow. The was very clean and not disgusting. Cons-The breakfast was horrible. They had very not so polite staff. Those are my only complaints.

Did not love this place and would not recommend it to anyone unless they had no other option. Bed and pillows were really REALLY soft, the towels and washcloths were stained and scratchy, the A/C smelled moldy which explained the funky stink in the room, the noise from the road was non-stop. Overall cleanliness was okay, but furnishings and paint were obviously old. For $68 a night I expect a lot more.

I had a short weekend stop in Houston. From here it was easy to get anywhere.. downtown and around the city. Close to Freeway but not noisy. Room was clean and staff very helpful. Got shuttle bus to airport. I'd stay again.

My room was clean and supplied well. Front desk was very helpful. Continental breakfast was a nice added bonus. I would stay at this hotel again and do recommend it if you are on a budget.

I WAS FORCED TO SIGN A BOUCHER WITH MY AMEX DESPITE IT WAS ALREADY PAYED, AND AT THE CHECK OUT THEY DIDNT FIND THE BOUCHER, THIS IS ILEGAL, BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE A FRAUD DONE BY A HOTEL IN MIAMI SIX YEARS AGO.

Service was good but not sure this hotel deserved the 3 star rating offered on the [...]web site. For the money, however, it fulfilled its purpose. Be aware of traffic of I10 and give yourself a few extra minutes if heading to the downtown area.

I really liked my staying at this hotel. They call you by your name and that made me feel important. The location is great too.
