Is very well located Hotel. Very good price / quality relation. Majority of guests are business related . Overall the Hotel is very clean and well maintain . The breakfast is the part that needs more improvements : not to much variety
This is a great hotel, my room was spacious and clean. Shower was a good size, with gels and shampoo. The breakfast was nice and had a fair selection of food. I eat in the Italian under the hotel, food was tasty and I enjoyed my meal. Only downside is the road can be noisy in the early hours with dustcarts and lorries.
Great city centre location, walking distance from both stations. Challenging flight of stairs at the entrance to lug suitcases up in the rain. Reception staff double as bar staff, and can't view entrance to provide help. Luckily a well mannered young man helped me up the second half of the flight! Lift thereafter - phew. Basic though pleasant room, plenty of sockets, great shower and fluffy bath sheets. Disliked the wall hung toiletries but it is budget, though not cheap. Only two pillows, though two more in the wardrobe, to hairdryer and basic tea making. Good buffet breakfast, head and shoulders above Holiday Inn Express, with plenty choice and nice touch of having haggis. Other than the stairs at the entrance, would recommend this hotel for business and tourist stays.
This hotel was just what we needed. Clean and centrally located. It's not fancy but it's comfortable, modern and gets the job done. The staff was outstanding. They made us feel very welcome and helped us to plan our route for exploring Glasgow. Special thanks to Paige for all her help and advice!
This hotel is close to main shopping area and train station. Staff is very friendly and breakfast is good for the price. It is in the old historical building and has many doors to cross before reaching your room. It is also at least 7-8 steps above street level and with a large luggage it was hard for me to reach reception.
Such a hassle to get into the hotel. No ramp or elevator from the street unless you go around to a filthy back lane, but no sign to inform you. A real pain with heavy bags to climb up the stairs and then to be confronted with so many heavy fire doors to push through. Only one person on check in and no one else to assist. The room was okay but through the window you can see the office next door so I assume they can see into the room so you have to draw the curtains to use the bathroom and for privacy. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom towels were big and fluffy, probably new. The shower is good although the shower screen is too short and water splashes onto the floor. No soap, only a liquid soap dispenser which was almost empty. Kettle and coffee and tea making facilities were useful and a large flat screen TV. Wifi couldn't be accessed from the room and we had to go to the lobby to log in and then it cut out again in the room. Very annoying. Breakfast was good and included in the room charge. After check out we could store our luggage during the day until we left for the airport. The hotel is very central so convenient.
Located in the middle of city center, close to everywhere :) i dont remember when slept that good last time, very comfortable beds, rooms nice and clean. staff very nice and helpful will be back for sure.
i have stayed in a lot of Radisson Hotels out of that this was the worst experience. No parking which was not a big problem, room was freezing cold no way to adjust temperature night shift staffs no clue of anything forget about getting any help. Bar menu pretty poor better choices in local pub these days. ordered some snack was told it comes from the tony mac downstairs and takes about 15 mins but its took more then an hour to arrive the lady in black coat looked like one of the manager was very sorry about everything but she couldn't do anything either. next morning breakfast i reached there 30 min before and one of us couldn't manage to reach so i wanted to take some food to the room. by the time i figured out for eggs you have to order form kitchen it was 15 min before before breakfast finishes so i approached one of the two staffs chatting on the corner if i can get some scrambled eggs and i was told its 10 min left for breakfast to finish so chefs will be probably packed up. i do not expect this from Radisson. overall not comfortable stay at all wont recommend.
The room was very spacious but on the first floor, and even with secondary glazing, the noise from the street was pretty bad. Couldn't hear anything from other rooms though. Bed comfy but pillows a bit too soft.
I was impressed with this hotel given the price and location. Staff were always helpful. Great breakfast to start the day. Be warned there are steps you need to walk up with your suitcases to enter, but elevators to the different floors inside. My father and I had a room with two twin beds. It was very large and the washroom and tub were spotless. Sure, the couch, chairs, and carpet have seen better days, but it suited our needs fine instead of paying top price for a newer and fancier hotel. I would recommend to anyone staying in Glasgow, unless they enjoyed the finer things in life this might not fit their needs.
