I recently stayed at this hotel during the Tsnmt festival. The customer service was fantastic from start to finish and the room was superb too. I highly recommend signing up to their fantastic free IHG Rewards loyalty scheme too if you're ever thinking of staying here and also keep an eye out for their fantastic Accelerate promotion you maybe able to combine it with for some extra bonus points. thedealhunter

I recently used this hotel to host a training workshop for a large UK charity. Alana in the events team was extremely helpful and informative in the lead-up to the day, and correspondence was always timely. The event ran smoothly and the snacks and lunch provided were well received. Great venue and location, I plan to use again.

The service here was excellent, staff were all very helpful. The buffet breakfast was great, especially the vegetarian sausages. Room was tight in space but the beds were comfortable and the room included all necessary amenities. Everything was clean and the air conditioner helpful as the bathroom has no exhaust fan. Location in the centre of town was ideal.

The Holiday Inn was in a perfect position for my first visit to Glasgow, it was about a 10 minute walk from the central train station and located close to the city centre. It has a very smart appearance walking into the building with a warm welcome from the reception staff. The entrance lobby isn't huge with the bar and restaurant close by. My room overlooked CineWorld in Renfrew Street, this was a twin room. It was very tastfully decorated and modern looking. It was a little bit smaller than I expected but as I was staying on my own it adequate enough for my stay. The bathroom again was on the small side. The bed was extremely comfortable. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel but did a burger in the bar which was very good indeed. The burger cost £13.95, Guiness was very good too at £4.90 a pint. Reasonable prices for a city centre hotel, Stuart the barman was great serving and chatting, being very friendly.

It was a very nice and calm stay in the heart of Glasgow city.. The room was so clean, spacious, very tidy and has all what you need.. Breakfast was super and rich .. Staff are amazing and so professional... Free WiFi.. Excellent location.. just few steps from main bus station and the main walking street.. Excellent services.. Thanks for all staff , you made our stay the best.. Highly recommended

The hotel is excellent, with friendly helpful staff who can't do enough to help you. We were upgraded to an executive room, which was very clean and roomy. the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was also clean. The breakfast was good and worth the £10 paid, but I am not sure it would be worth the £14.99 if you didn't pre-book it. The food was hot with plenty of choice in both the hot and cold section, if you wanted eggs that weren't scrambled you only had to ask and they were quickly cooked for you. The service at the bar was quick and efficient and the bar staff were also very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good, just on the outskirts of the city center which is only about a 5 minute walk away. I would come to this hotel again if we ever come back to the area.

From the minute you walk in the door, you always receive a warm & friendly welcome. They can't do enough to accommodate you. Stuart on the bar is very knowledgeable about local beers; a true, traditional Scottish welcome! Thanks, Stuart for your excellent recommendation on the beer! Ideally situated to explore the city. Warm, comfortable rooms - what's not to like?!

For those looking for a decent spot to stay for a Hydro visit then this does the trick. Girls at the desk can have a taxi at the press of a button. Room was very comfortable and beautifully clean ( Thank you, Grazyna). A lovely chocolate card in the bedroom from the hotel. The room was ideal size and table space for a night away - could maybe be a. It tight if staying for a longer period of time. Found the AC noisey but can appreciate that this type of thing needs to make noise to work. Could hear traffic in the room despite double glazing but doesn't bother me - slept like a baby but those light sleepers of the world might not cope. BUT please bare in mind you will hear noise in any city center hotel. If you don't want city noise then don't stay in a city location. Would definitely stay again and recommend to my peers.

standard holiday inn. room tidy if unspectacular good comfy bed gave a good nights sleep, staff efficient in bar and at breakfast. location is the key aspect here, close to theatres, bars and quality shopping. Cinema across the road and close to university.

We didn't stay here but we attended a function and would highly recommend it to anyone. The food was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the staff - we had flowers delivered to one of our party at the Holiday Inn Express up the road and they transferred them down for us. The duty manager found them and had them delivered to the corridor outside the function room where we could get them when we needed them. The waiting staff were excellent. The facility was excellent and we're talking about returning next year!!! And it's only a short walk to the bus station for those who want to go home at the end of the night.
