Excellent value, walked to the train station in 2 minutes! Beautiful rooms!

Besides the friendly staff and nice breakfast the rooms left a lot to be desired. The rooms were not comfortable and in order to maintain a decent comfort level the windows had to be left open and then you could not sleep as there was a lot of noise from the surrounding area all night.

Great location and exactly as described. Breakfast a little too prefab/frozen and crowded.

It's not horrible and it's in a good location. You could do a lot worse and the price is all right. Don't go in with a lot of expectations, enjoy the area, and you won't be terribly disappointed.

Location: This hotel was located right in the city center, across the street from Glasgow’s Style Mile and train station and a few blocks from the central bus station. Staff: Staff was polite and helped us with directions to the airport. The hot breakfast items were extremely greasy and salty but luckily they do offer continental breakfast options like yogurt, cereal, and pastries which were a lot better. Room: The room was huge, a little outdated, but it had 2 full beds and a living room area with 2 couches and a coffee table. I do not think there was any air conditioning but the windows do open slightly which provided enough breeze to keep the room comfortable.

SAVED US A LOT OF MONEY FOR A NICE HOTEL WITH A GOOD LOCATION. WHAT WE PAID VS THE 89 POUND STIRLING WAS A BARGAIN CONSIDERING THE EXCHANGE RATE. WE WOULD STAY AT THE HOTEL AGAIN. WE WERE 1 1/2 BLOCKS FROM THE TRAIN STATION. 20 POUNDS STIRLING FROM THE AIR PORT. GLASGOW IS UNDERATED. LOTS TO DO AND SEE. GOOD JUMPING OFF PLACE TO THE HIGHLANDS. VERY GOOD STAY

[...] the room was a mess. The bathroom did not have a door, the carpets and walls were in extremely bad shape with holes and stains throughout. [...] The hotel served breakfast in the morning, and that was actually good. The location is right across from the Radisson Blu, but it is a rough area. The elevator in the hotel only fits two people, and was quite dodgy, we took the stairs after the first experience.. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless the price is bargain basement.

The Hotel was centrally located. Close to Subway, Bus, and Train stations. The complimentay breakfast was excellent. Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly/helpful. Hotel is close to great pubs, grocery stores, and shopping. It is located in a very family friendly area. Close to alot of attractions, such as: Buchanan ST.(lots of musicians busking), George Square, The Glasgow Museum of Modern Art, an hour bus ride to Edinburgh, a short subway ride to the University of Glasgow and the Rangers F.C. stadium. We would recommend to others and would stay there again on our next trip to Glasgow.

This hotel was within walking distance of shopping and attractions and the bus station. They provided free luggage storage pre and post check in/out. In the room they provided a hospitality tray and bottled water that was greatly appreciated. There were good restaurants nearby.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was next to the rail station. Overall, for the price, this was a great bargain.

This hotel had lovely accommodating staff and a great location. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very helpful and fixed a little confusion with our booking quickly and politely. The only thing less than perfect was that our fifth floor rooms were a little too warm. I'd give 4 and a half stars if I could!

The hotel was ok,good food.Nice location and Good value for money.Though the rooms were all not to same standard,e.g not all rooms had phones. The channels on TV would only show local stations, any other station would get distorted and you can't watch it. All in all,it's a nice, cosy place in the city centre, just a few minute's walk from the central railway station.quite handy.

Old hotel in downtown, 100 yards from train station and pedestrian walk and shopping, night life. Lots of bars with live entertainment. Good pub next door. Bathrooms are new and clean and in the room.We came in by train and took 2 trips (Edinburgh and Mallaig) on train, so very convenient. Staff was very helpful. Free breakfast buffet was good. I found nothing to complain about.
