Our group[ of 14 travelers had a hard time with this hotel. We had a one night reservation done on line and there were rooms that were reserved as triple sharing. On arrival the front desk person in charge insisted that only twin sharing was allowed. and he commented that Asians always try to sneak in people beyond the reserved number. Although \this was said in German, we had a Swiss friend along with us and he interceded on our behalf stating that we are a group of doctors and we could afford to pay for extra rooms if needed. My friend had to pick up her own linen/towels from reception for the extra room. (Poor service). Even if the place is ok in terms of the quality of rooms, I would not come back to book this hotel as they seem to have a poor opinion of Asian travelers.

We reserved last minute and they had plenty of room - this is a big hotel. Rooms are big and would have been great for skiing (we went in September) with a little entrance "hall" for kit even in our basic "sport" room. Breakfast room has great views of mountains. No double beds in whole hotel apparently which was misrepresented on the site we booked through - just single beds about 6 inches apart and receptionist said it was same in every room!!! Shower was broken also.

We were there for a week - loved the terrace and the room- spacious and well equipped. The location if great for getting to know Engadin. The wellness was perfect, spacious and not very populated. Some of the stuff were friendly and attentive, some less. If back to Engadin, would stay there again.

We picked this hotel because our friend been here last year. Nice hotel. Good priced. Modest hotel offering unfussy rooms, plus mountain-view dining & a wellness area with a pool. Restaurant and the bar are nice. We had only a breakfast and it was ok. Ski storage. There is a massage treatments in the rooms. Free and fast wifi. We had great weekend!

I was sceptic about this place but after I reached the hotel, I was glad I booked it. Luca, the gentleman front office was very polite and really helpful. He upgraded us to a premium room and we got one of the best stay we had during our entire trip. His colleague, Ruben, was also helpful abd both of them had guided us on how to go to various places. I would love to stay at the same place again... thank you all for an amazing time.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was very good. Excellent breakfast. Very good wellness with beautiful view on the mountins. We got golden card what was the reason to choose this hotel. You can use public transport and mountin cables for free. Amazing!!!! I will come back! St. Moritz is a lifelong love.

It's a nice hotel, with big rooms that are clean and warm. The hotel also has really big pool with clean wather and hot whirlpool also the sauna and the spa centar is open from 7:30 till 21h. Hotel is on the quiet street in quiet neighbourhood. The problem with this hotel is that is far from St Moritz so there are not a lot of things to do after the skiing.

Spacious rooms but very old furniture. The bathroom was renovated. If you go skiing it's not an ideal location , need to walk to the bus stop 10 min. Breakfast was good. Dinner only two choices. Drinks overpriced. 7.- 1l water. Nice pool.

Note :- The Europa hotel Saas-fee must have thought they had had a mystery guest, as I have never been there. I was in such a hurry to give the Hotel Europa, - Champfer, - the credit, I gave it to the wrong location. Apologies, Hotel Europa - let me correct my mistake :-. "We arrived at The Europe Hotel on Thursday 26th January, in great excitement for the Snow Polo event taking place in St Moritz. Never having been to St Moritz before, we were not sure of the region nor exactly how far the Europa Hotel was away from the lake, where the event is held. Asking the taxi driver at the St Moritz bahnhof station, "Is the Europa hotel very far" ? he replied "It is very far". It is maybe just 2/3 miles. The taxi fare was 32 chf which we considered reasonable, at 9 o`clock at night, when we, 3 blonde ladies ! - well, actually 2 and their Mother, - did not want to be floundering about, struggling with suitcases, in an unknown area. We were welcomed very warmly into the Europa Hotel, by Luca, the duty manager, and frankly, he could not have been more accommodating. Despite me ringing him within 5 minutes of looking at the allocated room, I telephoned him and asked if we could have a bigger room, he diligently studied the available rooms, and offered us TWO more available optional rooms, one with an upgrade price, larger and with a better view, the other being the same size but with a different orientation. He was SO patient, when we finally settled on the larger room with an upgrade price. The next morning, refreshed and ready to face an exciting day we went for breakfast, to find a large breakfast room, fully laid out with various kinds of artisan or typical sliced breads, cooked breakfast underneath a hot cupboard and cereals, cheeses, various yoghurts, fruit, etc., in the cooling display cabinet. The whole was laid out really beautifully, as was the dining room with ample tables near windows to take in the morning sunshine and the view. The next task for this long suffering gentleman was "How do we get to the Lake" - he came outside with us and guided us to the bus stop, and advised us of the cost 3chf to take us to the main bus stop adjacent to the Post Office, and supplied us with a timetable for our return journeys, together with information regarding where best to eat, etc., Our rooms at the hotel were cleaned and the beds made. New towels supplied and bathrooms cleaned scrupulously. The sheets and towels are lovely. There is not very much to do in the area if you want to try Bingo, or go to the movies. There is NOTHING, except one or two more restaurants. We actually went to the Pizzeria on the top floor of the hotel, and in fact, the food was very good, our choice being a Pizza, but this was, and I do not want to single them out now, having experienced the cost of each and every restaurant in the area, - the wine, starting at 38/40 chf and UP, thus resulting in us having a Pizza, shared by 3, and a piece of cheese/mozzarella antipasta for a starter, which resulted in a bill of 185 chf. The pizza was very tasty, but there was no one else in the restaurant, at 8.30 pm in the evening and onwards, and the atmosphere deterred us from wanting to visit again. Room Tip: Room 508 very quiet with nice view of the mountain but tedious ascent through two different buildings I would recommend the Hotel Europa very highly in regard to it`s location, as, when we did actually find the real centre of St Moritz, it was `grander than grand`,and it would have been reflected in the price. St Moritz is absolutely fabulous. We intend to come again next year for the Snowpolo, and we will definitely stay at the same hotel. The category listing below says `family`, but it is more akin to `friends`, my daughter`s being 49 and 48, thus the sort of entertainment we would be looking for is a restaurant that is sophisticated (ish) without being too dressy and good food without being gourmet - we wanted to be the next day, relatively early to enjoy the remaining polo day. Tip - go to the local supermarket and get your wine/spirits, - also they make up beautiful rolls from their fresh hams/cheeses if you want a picnic. ... See more room tips Stayed January 2017, travelled with family 4 of 5 bubbles Sleep Quality 4 of 5 bubbles Rooms 4 of 5 bubbles ! - I hope you`re as good.

September is off-season but there is charm in that. Wife can't walk so I did and it was great. Like Sound of Music in the view and the weather. Hotel seems to be a conglomeration of many parts and add-ons. the room was large and the bath updated. Service was mostly the Manager but all were a Swiss way. The restaurant had nightly specials and breakfast was reasonably accommodating. We needed taxi service a few times and it was OK. There is a very lovely village a short distance away (did not see it until the bus to Locarno went through it) That is another story. We came up from Basel via train (very beautiful) and went through Italy (via lake Como) to Switzerland via bus...VERY EXCITING! Must follow the staircase...quite weird and odd services at every level and the strangest elevator ever. Big relaxing "apri" rooms.
