Spaciousness of the room with a bathtub with nice soaps and shampoo and a comfy chair for reading and relaxing. Nice selection of coffee and tea. Sadly, some road noise, common to many properties.
The staff were helpful and friendly. Views over the pool and the river were serene. Location is walkable to dining. The Lodge also offers lovely perks like a wine reception and a very above average hot breakfast with multiple options. I recommend this little oasis in Grants Pass.

The bed was comfortable, room was very clean, nice restaurant across the street to watch the game and have a few cocktails. Really enjoyed our stay.
The grounds are beautiful and right along the Rogue River. The reception area is lovely, and the hotel offers warm cookies and milk as well as wine, cheese, and crackers daily. We were given a room where the door was open and someone had been working on the air conditioning unit. The tools were still laying on the carpet and there was a strong smell of the cleaning product. We were able to get a different room, which was actually an upgrade, but unfortunately the room had a very strong odor I am assuming was from the aged carpet. With some upgrades this hotel would be amazing.
