Terrible odor in the halls and even worse in my room. Cab driver said the neighborhood is not safe, even asked if my reservation was refundable, suggesting I should cancel if I could.

Not a very nice hotel. Ants in my room. Indoor pool was cold. My daughter got a rash from something there. Remote for TV didn't work unless you pointed it just right. Attendant said you just have to point it right, not batteries. Definitely ruined Travelodge for me. Won't be staying at one again.

a place to sleep. but that was about it. a little noisy. needs updating.

Room was fairly clean, but decor outdated. Thin brown 70s blanket. The softer blanket underneath had holes in it. My main complaint, though, is that you can hear LOUDLY the footsteps of people in the room above, floor squeaking and every movement. It actually woke me from a sound sleep, so I ended up waking up for the day early because those above me were up. They weren't being loud on purpose... It was simply walking, but VERY loud. I wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel is set behind a strip mall & driving behind/beside it was the only surprise. It was clean. It was warm. The staff was fine & the breakfast includes a waffle maker! For the money, this motel is a great deal.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Travelodge location. It was close to the airport and nearby attractions in downtown Grand Rapids. I enjoyed the fitness room and indoor pool. It's a great value.

I was leery of some of the older Grand Rapids motels, but Travelodge was a very unexpected and pleasant surprise! The folks there were awesome - and everything was as clean and nice as any motel I've ever been to. All the amenities were exactly as promised, and the breakfast bar was very clean and neat. The proprietor and his family and crew were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Fantastic stay! What a value!

My 4 year old nephew had a 7:45am appointment at Helen DeVoss Children's Hospital so we came down the night before got two rooms. Had a minor issue with room but was compensated accordingly! Very nice friendly staff!

Nice stay here for a total of 2 nights- kids enjoyed the inside pool

Good for the money. Only complaint is no hot tub in the pool area.

Friendly and helpful staff. Food breakfast area. Clean room. Will use again.

Utilized indoor pool, exercise room, and breakfast a little. Nice to have these things with a good value price and nice location right off highway 131 as well.

Great cheap place for a one night stay.Very friendly desk attendant and the atmosphere was clean and nice.

Rude staff. Very uncomfortable beds. Smelly rooms. Shady location.

Very uncomfortable beds. Rooms stink. Shadey area. And rude staff!

This hotel was perfect for us, close enough to all the ArtPrize activities, about 10 minutes by car, and at a really reasonable price. It also has a small pool which was nice to relax in.

Red flags started at check in.. when I was told there was a $50.00 deposit so we did not smoke in the room.. then it was them trying to tell me i needed to get a bigger room because my 5 year old was with us and the room was only big enough for 2... and we would not get that at the discounted rate.. even though she sleeps with us at home.. after talking to management it was taken care of.. but then when we got to the room it STUNK like someone had been smoking in it for years.,. and because my husband did not want to have the $50 deposit held he called the front desk and the lady accused him of already smoking in there... he informed her we had just walked into the room.. she came down to spay some air freshener.. While My daughter and I were in the pool(spent just enough time in the room to get our suits on..) maybe 5 min.. my husband realized some of the rooms had doors leading straight outside... and being a smoker in a nonsmoking hotel it would be more convenient but when called down to see if we could switch he got told you can only switch within the first 15 min of having the room(was never told about this) Then when you would need new towels they would count the ones you were giving back and only give you what was in your room and not a washrag more.. then I realized i forgot my razor at home so i went to the front desk to get one.. and the lady acted like i was bugging her cause i asked her to grab me something..

excallant stay for one night, room was clean & staff were friendly.

Nice room and fun time at the pool with grandchild.

My stay was not the best. I was not please with the area the hotel was located. I booked not familiar with the area. A drunk man tried to get into my room at 3:30 am and would not go away. When I tried to call the front desk the front desk button on the phone was broken. Luckily I had my confirmation paper in my purse and was able to use my cell phone. What would I have done if I didn't have the paper with me. I was traveling with my daughter and my sister and we were very frightened.

Thank you for your review. Valuable feedback is always appreciated. Sorry about if there was something wrong with the shower and the noise. These are issues our front desk would happily have addressed at any time. We are doing some renovations. Hopefully next time you stay will be a better experience. Thanks again, Marco P. /Front Desk
