The hotel staff and hotel was nice in itself. However I was extremely disappointed with the booking process. I was looking for a room with 2 beds for 4 people. I found this one and it said it was a 4 person room. So one would assume it has 2 queen beds. I was looking on orbitz, so maybe it was their fault, but this 4 person room had only one bed. The hotel was completely booked up by the time I had realized this due to a hockey tournament and a dart tournament in town at the same time. There were no rooms in the entire city left. When i called the super 8 to speak to them, the desk clerk saw my orbitz reservation was a 4 person room and had only one bed and she laughed. I didn't think that was professional. No apology or attempt to help me. I asked for a rollaway and she said they only had 2 in the hotel and they were both reserved. One of my friends had to bring an air mattress so they didn't have to sleep on the floor. That is my major complaint. The breakfast was limited and not great. The biscuits and gravy was horrible. Biscuits were cold and the sausage gravy was watered down and cold as well.

The staff was very nice. They had removed the carpet from the room we where to go in. It had a awe full smell. It was the glue they used to put down the new floor. They gave us a new room. I couldn't breath and eyes where burning.

Our room was very clean. The only problem we had was with the fridge, it froze everything with it being turned all the way down. The room could have used a bedside table on both sides. The bed was very comfortable.

Every thing was fine but the room needs to be aired out when we got there the room was very musty and smelled like mold......

Very quiet, clean rooms, friendly staff. Would stay here again.

The room was comfortable and clean, nothing fancy. Decent breakfast. No pool or hot tub if that is on your wish list.

Enjoyed the walk from the hotel to the Francis Gum home. Stopped for a bite at a local eatery and then relaxed in our air-conditioned room with good books.

No pool, so if we had been traveling with the whole family that may have been a deal breaker. but we were not expecting one and didn't need one for this trip. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. It was quiet and comfortable. The free continental breakfast was better than I expected for an economy hotel. Waffles, pastry, coffee, OJ, biscuits & gravy, toast, tea, etc. Not fancy, not a lot of frills. Heater/cooler was typical enonomy hotel type and some might have complained it was a bit loud, but I was looking for a stay on a budget and felt I got my moneys worth and a bit more than expected.

The room was clean. It was a nice sized room that had a touch of smoke smell even though it was classified as non-smoking. The free breakfast was very good. The staff that manned the main office were gregarious and efficient. A good stay for the $.

Needed a good place to rest before a full day's meeting in Grand Rapids. Very reasonable solution - clean, quiet and very friendly professional staff!

We were on our annual Fall trip to see colors and local points of interest. Although it rained the entire weekend we still had a good time and our motel accommodations were the best ever. Only negative about the trip was things that were stated as being open year around were not open on the weekend. We realize that we traveled after Labor Day; however, we did not expect so many things to be closed. In previous years, traveling in different locations, we found many more museums, discovery centers, historical centers, antique shops etc open and welcoming. This Super 8 Motel was most certainly the best we stayed in over the past 20+ years of going on an annual Fall trip. If ever in the area again, we will go out of our way to stay there because of the excellent service and the helpful, friendly staff. The combined efforts of all the staff contributed to a wonderful stay.
