Absolutely miserable. Checked in, and immediately checked out. Did not care that it was midnight. Drove across town and found another place. Guy at the front desk was hacking and coughing. Bedding didn't look like it had been changed. Heat didn't work (first cold night of the season). Place looked like it shouldn't be open. Weeds where the flower beds should be.

I like that this property has a restaurant and lounge. They also had a shuttle to and from the concert which was a big plus.

The location was great for my needs. The front desk staff told me 15 minutes for my room to be ready and 1.5 hours later it still wasn't. she kept using the excuse of short staff but they had a convention in the hotel. I was more upset that she kept lying to me. Wall were very thin and could hear everything from the other rooms

Frig they don't have frig at the room they should put every room

There is only one crib for the whole property and it was in use even though we requested one. The window shades have holes in them. The bathroom fixtures were broken off. There was mold in the corners of the tub. The ceiling was cracked and there were tiles almost falling off. The door latch for the bathroom wouldn't turn. The fridge shelves were broken. The room phone didn't work.

Nice room neat. Neat lounge and food. Recommend for a comfy stay

Nice hotel with a bar, mini golf course, pool, sauna, and a hot tub! There is also gambling with pull-tabs, blackjack and some slot machines in the lounge area.

The staff were very nice, the location was close, even within walking distance of the attractions I was in town for so that was also a plus. The room was decent size, no odor or dirtiness, everything was in working order EXCEPT the air conditioner. There was a box fan in the room that made it tolerable for the night, but I would have loved some AC in the room!

Enjoyed the location close to down town and the entertainment of the evening......

your site says the they have an exersize gym when ask they said I could go to the y and show my key card to get in I was recovering from knee surgery and did want to use the equipment and not travel to do it the room was nice and staff was good the fact that they didn't have continental breakfast is a drawback for the price

Came to Grand Forks for the annual Mud Run. Spent the weekend. Guesthouse is in a great location downtown, close to great restaurants and bars. Guesthouse has its own restaurant and bar, too. The breakfast menu is really affordable and the staff in the lounge are very friendly. They do a great job of making one feel welcome. The location and the amenities--nice pool, good restaurant/bar, friendly staff--go a long way in making up for the trashed room. This time it was a broken counter top above the toilet. Great location & staff, but poor room quality.

Older hotel with the characteristics of a warm, cozy environment.

We arrived at 3:15 and did not get our room until 3:45. There is a 3:00 check in. Room was very hot and no control for the room. Outside security door which was 8 feet from our room door was broke and left unlocked for our entire stay. Sauna could definitely use some maintenance. We asked for a fan for the second night and it looked like it came out of a dumpster. The only thing we liked was the location.

Loud, people drinking by the pool until late, not a good sleep, kids were running around pool unattended, a kid smacked a hard wet ball at me, while I was reading, my grand daughter swam only for while, she said there was a lot of junk at the bottom of pool. We lost a key, when we looked under bed there was garbage under there. When I made complaint, clerk said "ok" then walked away. Rude.

it was a good stay, nothing fancy. Hot tub was out of order during our stay.

Really needs updating

Other than waiting for the front desk staff to check me in, my stay was enjoyable. I would stay there again since it is located close to downtown.

The hotel was very pleasant for a short stay. The rooms were clean, the service was efficient, and the hotel restaurant/sports bar was affable. It is walking distance to all areas of downtown Grand Forks. I would recommend this hotel for a family with young children, with the indoor pool and mini golf. Otherwise, the noise of children playing in the pool early in the morning might be distracting.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel! Our downtown location is very convenient for many of our guests and we are ecstatic that we can provide a stay so close to your needs. We apologise for any inconveniences that were placed on you while waiting for your room, and even while we were very short-staffed that day, we do apologise for the extra long wait. We are sorry that you felt like you were lied to, but this was in fact the truth. We are not sure why a convention going on would lead you to believe otherwise, but if you would like to give us a call we would love the opportunity to clear up some of the confusion! We appreciate your business and we look forward to hearing from you!

Hello, Ashley. Thank for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for mentioning our location. We're the only hotel in historic downtown within walking distance to all theaters, restaurants, bars, boutiques, government offices and Cabela's store. We're also close to University of North Dakota. re: aid conditioning units. We replaced most ac units. We're waiting for the remaining new ac units to be installed in the next few days. Just as a reminder, we have dropped Red Roof Inn flag on Sept 25th, 2017. Our new name is "TownHouse Hotel Grand Forks" We hope to see you again soon.
