I have a refrigerator and microwave in the room which is nice I feel they need the new air beds

Good, economic, place to stay. The pool was a plus, with an eating place on site.

We arrived at 5:30 pm and we were told that our room wasn't cleaned yet. The lady at the front desk told us she could switch us to another room that was already clean. The room had a King sized bed and it hadnt been made completely, and it looked like a bowl because the mattress was old and when two people laid on it you both fell in the middle. The hotel was full so we were stuck. The air conditioner didn't work and made loud noises all night..

When I showed up and saw the outside appearance, I questioned the inside. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Looks were deceiving. We had a very spacious room, pool/hot tub was huge and well kept. Very pleasant stay. I'd say they a least put the money where guest actually use it.

Comfortable room, very nice responsive staff that assisted us when needed. Very nice pool.

Sadly our experience at the RAMADA was mostly negative. We got there at 6pm to check in, the key card wouldn't work so new key cards we got only to find the room not made up, bed undone, trash on floor and a big cardboard box in middle of room. We had reserved a King room... ended up with a Queen... walked into that room found toothpaste smeared in the sink, bathtub floor was very sticky. Dust on the desk chair armrests and feet also a screw on the seat of that chair.Dust as well on base of dresser and night stand (yes, they were remodeling the hotel, but....) Room was very cold, I called front desk about heating, only to be told to turn AC off. It was OFF!!! And was told the heat is turned off for the summer. Room was near ice and soda machines thus noisy... Next day problems with key cards again... Also bought candy bar from vending machine, it was melted... Next day bought a Hershey bar from vending machine it was old and molded looking... Yes, we got our money back on that. Also found a yellow stain on comforter, it was covered up by the coverlet so did not see it right away. On the plus side, the bed (we only used one) was comfortable and the pillows were good. Nice towels also. However the lighting in the bathroom not efficient unless the heat lamps were turned on. All in all very disappointing for a RAMADA.

My wife and I just needed a place to stay for the night and this place fit the bill. We wandered down to the lounge and the staff was very friendly there. Service was a little slow, but that was more a result of them being busy instead of poor service. The people at the front desk were gracious and helpful. The room was very big, comfortable and exactly what we needed. Would stay there again!

Lacking attention to detail on all aspects of this facility. While safe and easily accessible location, there was nothing that stood out to give positive comments. Less-than-energetic staff and rooms that had basics but no character left me with blah impression.

Room was super clean really nice hotel overall is excellent I will stay again

The room and staff are excellent I will stay in the hotel and I am currently staying in a hotel

This hotel fits the two-star rating. It appears old and could use a bit of updating to spruce the place up. The first room we were given smelled very smokey for a non-smoking room, thankfully they had another room available for us. We also requested a late check-in and that was available. All interior rooms face the pool, which can be loud and echo, so request outdoor facing room if you don't want to be woken up in the morning to kids playing in the pool. We stayed here because of a wedding reception in the same hotel, otherwise would probably have picked a nicer hotel in the area.

A bit dated, but room comfortable, friendly staff and easy to get to

Rooms are nice, the better quality bedding, TVs etc The desk help was a bit surly and the lobby looked tired

Cleaning staff and front desk service was excellent.

We had a very good experience at the hotel. The staff was very nice, the restaurant was very nice and the wait staff was very accommodating to our dietary needs.

Stayed there for 2 days while I was visiting friends. When I placed the reservation I put in no preference for smoking, assuming that there was no such thing as smoking rooms anymore. Well, I got a smoking room, I called down to the desk to see if it was possible to get a non-smoking room. She rearranged some stuff and got me into a very nice poolside room, without up charging me. Not overly fancy but good for the price if staying for a day or two.

I was in Grand Forks for a high school reunion. I used the motel as a base from which to journey out to explore my old home town and to attend events. The check in process was easy, as was the checkout. The room was your typical motel room. It was clean, the furnishings were a bit worn but not obtrusively so. The bed was fine. Good breakfasts. Nice waitress. Overall, a good experience.

The hotel is stuck in the late 80's/early 90's with its furnishings. From the lobby and 'restaurant' decor to the room it self. The hotel is average size, enough spaces for kids to sneak away in. The room was average size as well. Four of us shared a room (two couples) and the only complaint was the beds weren't up to par. Both beds sagged in the middle and the sheets/comforter was less than to be desired. The room AC unit was loud and clunky. Had to manually control it in a awkward position with little lighting. We paid $90 a night for this Sioux hockey weekend. Overall I guess it wasn't a horrible stay. Lots of kids running around during the day. Just an very average at best hotel for the city.

The room was clean and comfortable with ample pillows to suit anyone. We did not eat at the restaurnat but our experience with the hotel was good.

Very few exercise machines and no upper body exercise machines. No cross trainers and no complimentary breakfast facilities.
